Reason For Rating : Hotel denied us the room saying that yatra is bullshit and they give you booking confirmation without asking us. Had to stay in a small hotel far away. Ruined our trip.

We had a group booking (50+ pax) in December 2018. Good and clean rooms. All rooms have private balcony overlooking the magnificent view of the Great Himalayas. Very good food and services. They arranged DJ and Bonfire on request. Staffs are well mannered and always helpful. Park for kids is good.

Although we were a large group and stayed only for 1 night before moving on I found it to be a lovely resort with a spectacular view of the Shimla hills! The rooms were well lit and sunny!Seepage had started at some places. Moreover, the soundproofing was definitely inadequate as all sounds from the neighbouring room could be heard. The staff was cheerful and helpful. So all in all it was a good stay!

Stayed there for one night with family. The service was prompt, rooms clean and views awesome. However the property needs to be maintained better. The slides in the lawns have deteriorated beyond usage. There was a big crater in the lawn which was dangerous. Also, the food was average and overpriced.

Visited Kasauli with family on a two-day holiday during early November 2018. Had booked earlier. There are not many properties in Kasauli as the traffic appears to be limited there in winters. Nowadays it snows a little in Kasauli, and people prefer to visit the more glamorous Shimla (nearby - around 70 kilometers from Kasauli) to see the snow. The narrow road of around 7-8 kilometers from Dharampur went up to the Kasauli Resort; our vehicle had to take a sharp U-turn downhill of around 20 meters to enter the property. The staff is polite and helpful. The reception desk was cooperative to the tailored needs of the visitors. The infrastructure is good though the Spa was not operative. The property is good for families with kids, as over 50 per cent is gardens with exotic flowers. The room heating was effective. The upper floors offer a better view of the valley. There are not too many spots to see in Kasauli and hence most of the time is spent in the resort. The resort can have a couple of more things to keep the visitors occupied. In peak season, with most tourists coming in vehicles, the parking space in the resport may prove limited. The management, however, makes all efforts to accomodate the vehicles. The resport location was optimum; the Tibetan market, Church and Sunset points were around 3 kilometers. Personal vehicles are helpful, as there is very limited public transport except mini buses every 15-20 minutes. The breakfast was good and mostly Indian, though we would have preferred a little more spread. Its a property worth a revisit.

We had a 2-night stay at the property. The property is nice, with ample space to park, roam around, and stroll in the garden area. We had a kid along and they have swings in the park to keep small children engaged. They have a small library for book lovers, and indoor games like TT and snooker. They also deliver games likes ludo/chess inside the room, to play at your convenience. I would also like to appreciate the small gift shop which houses all little stuff you might require. The breakfast buffet was good in variety and taste. Also, the restaurant gives a fine dining experience. The location is apt as well, not too far away from the mall road. I would suggest hotel management not to charge for games like snooker as the rooms were already priced on the higher side. Also, didn't like the evening tea which we ordered. I had complained about one of the swings and they acknowledged it well, which was something I liked. We were pleased with the overall experience, and would definitely recommend it.
