Hotel is located near the market. Nice location. Rooms are big but doors of bathroom was not working well. Staff is nice. Breakfast was also nice. This hotel is still under construction but we recommend all the people.

  • Good value for money

    by RajanPandey on

We stayed here while visiting Mata Vaishno Devi and found the property in perfect location - walking distance from Banganga (starting point of the pilgrimage) and good shops for food and shopping. The rooms are spacious and nice and we had a comfortable stay and quiet sleep. Ample water and toiletries are provided and replenished immediately on request. There are few things that werent good. Linen and quilt appeared used but when we complained they were promptly changed. The towel mat was dirty and there was no soap holder in the bathroom. Overall, good place to stay and if you find anything out of place, get it replaced. Feedback for hotel: Please dont cut corners in cleaning the linen and towels etc. as guests are prepared to pay the price for quality. Also, include a hand towel in your bathroom toiletries.

The ambience of Ganapati Hotel,Katra is really great. Rooms are excellent.I stayed in one of their Family Shrine view rooms which was really good in all respect. Its location is also prime. Everything is quite near to this hotel. Will surely stay again in future.

  • A good budget stay

    by Mayuragarwal711 on

Hotel is a good budget hotel within range of 2000-3000 per day. The location of the hotel is centrally located and is at the centre of the city. Local market and niharika Bhawan is at a workable distance from hotel. The rooms are good and are spacious also. But the hotel staff should try to maintain their property as the Maintainance was very low. The curtains were stained and the furniture being new was not giving such look because of low maintenance. Rest all was good. Only the Restraunt takes a little bit more time when we order,so make sure you order in advance to half an hour.

  • Perfect location for families

    by 835jaik on

Perfect location, well behaved staff, good interior, spacious rooms, comfortable bed, took 3 rooms for 2 nights. Dinner taken in hotel was good. Mr Radhe and owner of hotel guided us very well before start of Maa Vaishno devi temple visit. Shopping and eateries available outside hotel. Railway station, helipad, and online registration are all 105 Rs autoride away.

  • Though ground floor has ease of access, it could be noisy and no good view around
