One can enjoy the beauty of Assam here. As i did not do night stay there, but i can firmly say that one will enjoy this lodge very much. Its in Kaziranga National Park . Beauty of the Lodge is that it made from bamboo.

I stayed at Diphlu lodge for 6 nights last April. A great place, comfortable, relaxing and with the very best staff I've ever seen, always extremely friendly. The room was very clean, food tasty and safe. The lodge managers helped me to have the best wildlife experiences (saw Hornbills at nest, many Rhinos, Elephants, Buffaloes, Gibbons, Dolphins, various kind of monkeys, other birds etc.), and gave me one of their best guide, his name is Babloo: I can't reccomend him enough! Hope to come again!

DRL is defined by the warmth is has for us. Very caring staff makes it really special place to stay with family. Cottages are nicely done with lot of comfort and luxury created for its guests. We really liked the no. of fresh towels they provide, big cottages, delicious food (for us it was made to order). The jeep safari was so well organised, it created a life time memory with dozens of rihnos around and an aggressive male elephant (with long tusk) round the corner. Property could be better looked after, like cobwebs in cottages, certain places seemed left unattended with lot of bushes and tall grasses growing. It seems they were used for some activity and left unattended. Food is bit costly but was well prepared and served with lot of love, so no complains. By far it should be one among the best properties at Kaziranga. Recommended if you ask me!

You will love it the moment you walk into the resort... quaint bamboo stilted thatched roofs on paired rooms surrounding a paddy field. The piece de resistance is the cabana in the middle of the paddy field with a small water body with Lotuses blooming. Absolutely the perfect place to spend the evening. The restaurant and bar could be better stocked but with the ambience - who's complaining? The rooms dont let you forget that you are in nature's lap...although they have air conditioning and comfortable beds. the baths are also quaint and nice. A lovely balcony in front of every room overlooking the paddy field makes it serene and lovely to have your first coffee (or Tea since you are in Assam) of the day. Rooms are adequately stocked with tea, coffee etc. Overall a fantastic memorable destination even if you discount that it is letrally next door to the world heritage Kaziranga Park and we took 2 safaris including an elephant one while there....but that is another review. This resort is highly recommended if you are in the vicinity!!

Room are very large and comfortable. They have a bar overlooking the jungle. Its expensive because the game drives are included. if you like wildlife it s must .' Saw over a 100 one horned rhinos and a solitary tiger. Staff very polite. Guides that take you on the game drives are excellent.
