Luxury and style

Outstanding food in luxurious settings very close to Kaziranga National Park. The ethinic flavors of Assam are meticulously prepared using local ingrediants and traditional cooking methods, making the wait worth it. The vegetarian platter is deliciously vegan, except for the dessert.

It's a beautiful property.A really relief from the hectic schedule of daily life.We had a short but very peaceful stay. The staff was very friendly and very courteous.I have no words to show my appreciation for them.we had a taste of the Assamese cuisine too.The food in the restaurant was very good. All together, our short stay was a memory to be cherished.I would love to go there again.

This hotel is located about 5-10 mins drive from the Central zone of Kaziranga National Park. The surrounding is clean and well maintained. Rooms are spacious and clean with all necessary amenities. Laundry service is available. Staff is courteous and helpful though the restaurant staff is careless at times. Once they forgot to convey our order to the restaurant and we had to rush our meal for our evening safari Next our packed breakfast was not ready for our morning safari. When we order lime juice with water they brought lime juice with soda. So the only place you have to be vigilant is the restaurant. Other than that this is a very good place to stay. If I am making a second visit to Kaziranga one day I would definitely chose Iora.
Good hotel spoilt by loud party
by Ian L on
We stayed 2 nights at the Iora and the rooms and food are both excellent. There is a gym and spa/hair salon that travellers can take advantage of. There is also a pool (but we didn't see anyone in that). The local boys play cricket out the back that you can join in with if you feel up to it. As you need to get up really early for safaris, posters of keeping noise to a minimum are up around the hotel. Unfortunately for us, a group of young people were having a loud party a couple of rooms down from us. We told both the management and the people directly but this did not stop until well after midnight. The hotel facilities were excellent but their lack of control of such a party was disappointing.
A Great Hotel

This is a great resort.... it is a little tired but it makes up by having the most amazing ,friendly, very well trained staff and some of the most amazing food we have had so far on our trip! All at such a reasonable cost. Great cocktails in the bar! The room was big ,clean and the facilities good. We both had spa treatments which were fabulous and so well priced. We can absolutely recommend this resort for a trip to Kaziranga. The park is close by which is good. Wifi is only available in the lobby area and bar but was good. Really enjoyed our stay. Well done and thank you to all the staff who made our trip so memorable.
