  • Lovely place with great staff

My boyfriend and I stayed her for one night on route to Varanasi. It's just a 10 minute tuk tuk ride from the train station and even less from the airport. It's also less than a 10 minute tuk tuk ride to the western temples. The staff were so lovely. They allowed us check in early as our train arrived in the early morning. The breakfast was good, as was the dinner (even though there isn't too much choice on the menu). The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, and there's plenty of hot water 24/7 as well as wifi. The staff went over and above to make sure we had a pleasant stay. They helped us sort our train seats, allowed us to relax while we waited for our sleeper train and arranged tuk tuks for us as required. Would 100% recommend the hotel and would also stay here again.

  • Disappointing

Rooms were clean and air con effective. Limited hot water in bathroom. Hotel food was reasonable and veg grown in their garden. We would be more complimentary but saw a mouse running across the restaurant floor after eating. We told a member of staff who was not bothered at all. We rented bikes from the hotel for 200 rupees each (can rent them in town for 100 rupees each). Staff were friendly but would not stay again.

  • Acceptable hotel

The room was clean and comfortable and the garden is pleasant. It is some way out of town which may be inconvenient if you rely on public transport, but does make for peace and quiet. I do not recommend the restaurant as the food is bland and the stained tablecloths are not changed. Breakfast is acceptable

  • Awesome hotel in Khajurao

Hotel was neat and clean, Staffs were friendly in nature. Overall Food quality was also good specially Chiken Biryani, Dal fry, mutter panner. Distance from Khajurao Railway Station to hotel is 4KMa and Airport is 1KM (New Airport)

  • Very friendly staff

The GW Greenwood was booked for us through a tourist information centre in Delhi. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ended up staying here for 3 nights instead of 1 due to my Girlfriends illness. They were very accommodating and sympathetic to the situation. We were however I believe the only guests in the hotel. The hotel is further away from the main action of Khajuraho than expected but tuk tuks can be provided by the hotel. I do feel the staff were pushing for tips but that may be the nature of the service. The food was edible but the there wasnt much range/diversity in the food (I was craving western food at this point). But all vegetables used are from their garden. The room was spacious and comfortable however the WiFi annoyingly didnt reach the room we stayed in and to get the a good enough signal to use I had to leave the room (booking trains and flights). Overall- friendly and helpful staff in a nice hotel.
