This fort has a section of it made into rooms. It's really cute and quaint and I enjoyed my stay here. The AC was fantastic, and the room was so large it covered the bedroom area sufficiently, but didn't spread out to the sitting area or bathrooms. There were ceiling fans in those rooms (even the bathroom). The pool was really clean and service at the pool area was quick and efficient, also pleasant. We (my boyfriend and I) were the only 2 in the hotel, which was weird in a way, but service was not neglectful at all. I found the prices of the food to be a bit high for India, anyway. Two juices, a glass of wine and chicken nuggets were $25. My bf paid for dinner and he commented it was high, but I don't know how much it was. Breakfast was extremely good. There are vintage cars at the entrance, which was a bit of a surprise. (I love vintage anything.) We didn't have time to do any activities, but it appeared there were a lot to choose from.

This is a Fort part of which is turned into a Hotel. The room, the hospitality and the food were excellent. The collection of vintage cars (all in mint condition) was a treat. The swimming pool sould be maintained better. The evening time entertainment- folk song and dance show although fun, weren't serious performances. Puppet show was scary! I would suggest that the hotel arrange for car parking in shade as its sunny most parts of the year and my car turned into an oven. The staff was very very caring. I was told that 99% of the staff is from the local village (Khimsar) and they took great pride in serving the guests here. Do take a minute to pay visit to the Shiva temple in the hotel.

This property is actually a fort converted into a hotel. There is a lot of heritage and culture that you will find as you spend time in this property. The rooms are big and well appointed. The pool is large as well. I came out thoroughly impressed with the bar - it is complete royalty. As you sit inside sipping your favorite whiskey, you cannot not look at the Rajputana and British opulence around. It was outstanding! The food was good, not great. Breakfast was average and not lavish. For kids, this property is great as there are several activities for them - tennis, pool, table tennis, hula hoop, etc. In the evenings, the hotel arranges for cultural programs which were quite interesting. A good property and hospitable management. And yes - Do not miss the vintage car collection at the hotel...it is mindblowing!

Khimsar fort is beyond beautiful. After the drive to get to khimsar fort, I never thought that I would staying as what can only be described as a palace. It is a photographers paradise. The food was fabulous, the customer service was great and rooms were clean and beautiful. Modern bathrooms in a heritage hotel is exactly what I wanted. I will happily go again and again!

The hotel as usual like most rajasthan forts is a beautiful property, well maintained. The entertainment however was at a different level the khartal and main singer's performance is something that still gives me the goose bumps. The food was below average, which was sad as they charge quite a bit. Service too was substandard. the drive to the property on dunes however was an experience to remember. The oasis in the middle of all that sand with ducks, chilled beer, and friends....
