We reached Kishangarh and were pleasantly surprised by the beauty of Phool Mahal Palace. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it is at the bank of a beautiful, serene and super clean lake which is visited by birds during the day and the temples cast mesmerizing reflections during the day. The property is full of sunshine during the winter and has so many nook and corners to sit and watch the lake, parrots and other birds and relax. Food is delicious and the staff ever so courteous. Kishorji the manager took us on a walk around the lake and showed us many sights and told many local stories. Loved everything and can't wait to go back.

We were here for only one night but it was a lovely place to stay on the lake. We had the octagonal room with views over the water from the town to the mini palace on water to the temple behind and it was a great place to watch the sun go down. The hotel is sparse but comfortable and is well located for a visit to the fort behind. The dinner is good and breakfast decidedly western but everyone was very nice and our stay pleasant.

This quaint little heritage hotel in a tiny town is tucked away offering a most memorable holiday experience . Formerly the Palace was used by the royals of Kishangarh but now it is thrown open to travellers. The beauty of it glitters in the morning on waking up surrounded by the lake and the sun / moon rising or setting . The peaceful and serene little palace is a charming way to bring families / friends and revisit era . The terriff is not too high and food is not too great . Service is personalized to you convenience . There is no lift . People with wheelchair / knee problem must find it challenging .The bath rooms could be better with more hot water sully which is mostly erratic -you can not have enough hot water for a tub bath ! Over all it is nice place to take a break between Jaipur - Ajmer .

I was at this place on an official visit and was very skeptical about the type of service I would get. To my surprise this place is a gem. It has it's own character and aura which is discovered the moment you step inside it's beautiful rooms. The hotel grounds are surrounded by beautiful lake and a fort. That feel of royalty is inscribed on everything you see and feel at the hotel. The walls are decorated by beautiful Bani-Thani art form. It was an experience which I would remember for long. I would specially like to mention the names of Kishore and Ashok who took every care to make my stay comfortable. The food is freshly prepared and is very homely. Rooms are huge, surrounded by lake (as I earlier said), equipped with all the modern facilities. Visiting Kishangarh and staying at this place was a dream.

We drove through tiny busy streets and suddenly emerged onto the lakeside where under the massive fort palace nestled the pretty building that is Phool Mahal. Our welcome was the warmest and I always appreciate receiving a beautiful garland of flowers! Kishor, the manager, went to enormous trouble to ensure that we were made comfortable and we so appreciated being given the beautiful painted round room overhanging the water. Our dinner was outside by the lake where we kept warm with a fire. A most romantic setting. Kishor took us on a guided tour of the palace the next day and made the place come alive for us with his impeccable English. His knowledge was impressive and never dull and we learned a great deal. In the late afternoon we explored the lakeside and Kishor introduced us to a number of temples including that of the chicken pox goddess! The hospitality was outstanding and was a huge factor in us enjoying every moment here. Its a fascinating place to visit, with so much more to see than you might imagine. Many thanks for making us to very welcome.
