What's Good: Nothing very bad hotel. No credit card works. Food court was so dirty. If you see water bottle you will never see that side. Only location is perfect.
What needs to improve : Everything was bad here. Rooms were stinking . No exhaust toilet.

What's Good: Location, Customer service & support, very friendly staff, restaurant... can keep going on 😀
What needs to improve : Trying hard to find, unable to isolate. Just a suggestion, parking can probably improve given the feedback they receive they will be receiving more Customers if they continue to maintain the service levels. This is not a dislike but just a suggestion.

What's Good: It was really a GRAND stay in Grand Palace Hotel... I stayed for 2 nights with my family... Positives: The hotel was very near to Kodai Lake - so we had no difficulty in finding the location. The appearance of the hotel was also good. Check-in took few minutes only. The hotel welcomed us with a pleasant odour. The hotel Staff were so friendly - they were ready to help us in all possible ways. Though the travel desk was unmanned till we left the hotel, the Reception Staff guided us with the sightseeing options. Rooms were well maintained - clean when we checked-in. Toiletries were provided. Room was cleaned in the next day morning. Restaurant was neatly maintained - food was delicious and very cheap when compared to some other hotels nearby. Negatives: Restaurant had minimum dishes and there is no room service from the restaurant. Hot water is provided for a stipulated time only - in morning and in evening only. Though the room was well maintained, there is no carpet or wooden flooring which gives much inconvenience to walk along with bare foot in cool climate - the lighting was also not sufficient in the night (they had provided two lights near the bed placed just above the floor). There is no lift which will be difficult for old persons to walk along the steps.

Stayed there for 3 night. First of all its kinda far from the center of kodaikanal, to walk to the lake u need to climb up a hill, and to the center where all the restaurants u climb more about 10-15 min. Towels were wet and dirty, no heating in the rooms and it gets pretty cold at night. No view from the window. Hot water run only twice a day, at morning and evening and it takes a lot of time for them to warm up. The wi fi is only available in the lobby. The breakfast that was included offered only Dosa or white bread with jam. The staff were great and offered us room cleaning, booked us a taxi and gave us an extra blanket when we asked.

It's close to the lake. Offers nice complimentary breakfast, house keeping, room service. May be a bit pricey for amenities they offer, I'll check in there a second time tho without hesitation. Verdict - pretty good.

This is one of the worst hotel I have ever stayed. The internet was available in lobby only not in room and hot water is available for only few hours. These details are not provided while booking. The restaurant was purely south Indian (VEG) and had a horrible experience with that. We went for lunch and they told that only south Indian thali is available and E la Carte is available in dinner only so we had to go outside for dinner. At night at 9 PM when we went for dinner they told it is already closed and only south Indian buffet was available, so we had to go for outside for dinner as well. At the time of check in we told that we need toasted bread and butter in the breakfast and the manager confirmed that is will be available and breakfast time is 8:30 AM. When we went for breakfast at 8:30 AM in the next morning it was fully packed up with a group and bread is not available. I had to contact the manager once again and he requested to wait for 10 mins but actually we had to wait for 30 mins and when we got a chance to enter in the restaurant we came to know bread is not toasted and butter is not available and manager told me that as breakfast is complimentary so we can't ask anything more. I am not sure how manager can talk to his tourist with this language. When I asked the manager why the actual information (Internet and hot water) is missing they blamed Make My Trip saying that all the information has been provided to Make My Trip but it is their fault that they have not mentioned that and menu has been changed due to group booking although this sort of terms and condition was not mentioned any where.
