Quality of service in the reception needs to be improved. They appear more like govt servents instead of being providers of hospitaility. The gentleman manning he night duty slot (8 pm to 10 am) seems more like a lower division clerk in state govt, no attempt on his part to be proactive. I had to stay another day in the city but due to the attitude of this gentleman I have booked another hotel. The furnishing and room service is quite goos. If the management reads this then would request a improvement on the poit I mentioned.

Never stayed in a hotel like this. The bathroom was stinking, wifi never worked and air conditioning was a farce

  • Comfy but overpriced

by JenRosieNZ on September 28, 2016

Booked for a night after a horror 24 hour journey as we were in need of some luxury. Room was huge, beds comfy and AC worked. Staff friendly. Room was in need of a good clean ( as are most Indian accoms but this was spency), there also weren't any top sheets on the beds so we were back in our sleeping sacks, unexpected for the price. Asked for a double but got a twin. Breakfast service was a bit odd. No cold milk available for the cereal, only hot!! So much logic... We got stung with tax as well so the twin room with AC ended up being 2700 roops for one night which is just exorbitant. We moved over to the Galaxy Hotel and were giddy with joy at the lovely clean room and reasonable price after this place.

  • Avoid

by Adnan Parvez R on September 24, 2016

Horrible stay!! No maintenance of their room specially traditional rooms. Cleaning was below average. Restaurant service was not up to the mark. Only location is awesome. Safety locker adds value that makes traveller feeling safe.

  • Avoid this hotel

by AmritRay on September 22, 2016

I booked online. Stayed for 4 nights in September 2016. I thought I got a good discount when I got it for Rs.1700/night. When I went to the hotel. The staff told me there were two blocks one old and the other new. And that the rooms in the new block are better. I got a room in the old building. When I saw the room and the bathroom, I came down to the reception and told them I cannot stay there and to refund so that I can go elsewhere. They said it was not possible. So they showed me another room. It was smelling of disinfectant, especially the bathroom. I just couldn't stay there. They told me I could get a room in the new building, but it would be Rs.1000 additional per night. I had no choice but to agree. But still the room was not satisfactory. On the fourth day I had a female acquaintance visit me. They made her sit in the lobby and asked to chat there. Their policy is strictly no female visitors. It was quite humiliating actually.
