Great experience spending one night in this rajbari. Rooms were specious with old and antique furniture. Food was amazing. We, four families of friends went there by car. Long corridor with rocking easy-chairs, chandeliers, old pictures etc. will give a zaminder kind of feeling. In the morning, a 'bansuwala' wake up everybody by playing bansuri..it feels amazing.

This was a family trip - moreover, the owner extended personal courtesy as he is known to us. This is a very good initiative in preserving heritage with a business angle. They were making more additions - some entertainment options and a coffee shop will help

It is a heritage property.Milestones along with heir has played a material role in refurbishment of the property and opening the doors to public to experience royal living. The food is awesome and is cooked by descendants and the hospitality is great. If you are with family it is truly an experience of lifetime. The rooms have modern amenities with heritage touch and the upkeep is really noteworthy. Beyond hustle and bustle of city it is a great unwinding destination with family. Highly recommend.

Itachuna Rajbari is a very large mansion, partly open to tourists who want to retreat for a few days away from busy cities into a calm and quiet environment. Set in deep rustic interior of West Bengal, it presents a welcoming infrastructure. The rooms are decorated with antique/semi-antique furniture and the bathrooms are quite modern. Mineral water is provided at all times. The lush greenery of the sprawling gardens in this large property is very enjoyable. There's a small village (a part of the property) where one can stay in adobe cottages. The meal is realy good. In fact, it is one of the prime attractions. The meals are served in a separate dining hall in shining brass dinner sets - a touch of old times! The food is well cooked and provides choice between chicken, mutton, eggs, fish or pure vegetarian. A flute player plays melodious tunes morning and evening. In addition, one can request a one hour performance of "BAUL songs" (traditional folk songs) by local artists. We visited in summer. The AC worked very well.

We 7 friends have visited this Rajbari on 20th July and stayed there for 1 day...we go there by train from Howrah to destination station Khannam...from there we took toto to reach the Rajbari..the rajbari is spread around 20 ac area...the staffs are very courteous and nice behaving..we reached much early as the check in time is 12 pm..they took us to a place inside the area called 'cha-ghar'..as soon as they arranged our rooms i.e 2 hut called 'jhumkolata' and kanaklata' & one ground floor room called Mejho ma they took us there and serve welcome drink which is really soothing in the hot summer..rooms are well maintained clean bedsheets fresh towels ,soap, shampoo.pakage drinking water and glasses they provided...food is one of the highlight of this trip served in big metal plates(kashar thala) ..food is really awesome and they maintained hygiene really well....they took us for a round of whole rajbari around 5pm...the interior of the rajbari is a very amazing.they have many old furniture..carpet...sinduk made up of iron..telephone..sword.. book(encyclopaedia) and many other things the ancestors of the current owner's have used...in the evening around 7pm they have a Sandhya Arati in debottor mohol which is in middle of the rajbari which is beautiful to watch...local people also came at that time.. The stay is very much pleasant and enjoyable.. The only con is that the coolers in the hut is not working properly...the rooms become as hot as hell... Other than that it is very nice place ...
