Reason For Rating : Its a good place for stay with in budget. Clean premise in good neighborhood. Remember its lodging only. But good restaurants r at stone throw distance.

I have already visited there with my friends. We stayed there for 4 days and 3 night. We have a great experience and we really enjoyed our trip. It is a well furnished hotel with all modern facilities.

The Saroj Deep hotel is one of the oldest hotel at Kolkata. I have stayed there multiple times and oveall experience was very good, but recently their services have degraded and the hotel require little repairing.

Its an old & well recognized local place for stay. Its a kind a home stay with great location, clean rooms and light on pocket too. Thought services were not like the one before still its good but request them to make it like before.

Very good homestay.. Clean room peaceful neighborhood. Malls and market for shopping within walking distance. Proprietor of guest house is nice man. Would love to stay there again on next visit to kolkata.

We love to stay at Saroj Deep for last 30 years or so. We feel Saroj Deep is an excellent place to stay till now. I have seen Mr. Nirmal's latest review and I strongly contradict it. Curiously to know why after long 10 years stay now they have adverse opinion and enquired the cause. Learnt from Saroj Deep Every time, they want the very best room and want to pay the minimum against assurance to send regular guests but unfortunately not sent a single one for last 10 years. In last occasion also they have paid a very meagre amount. They also expect complimentary breakfasts. With such nominal payment their expectation is too high. So, services were withdrawn to them and were asked to check-out as early as possible So, Pals such review is not fare and very much misguiding to others.--- S.D. Ghosh & family.
