After a long flight and a long taxi ride we were welcomed with a winning smile at the reception desk by Manisha. She is efficient and genuinely gives a feeling of being in good place. Service at the restaurant needs more work. But reception staff including the buss person make up the failing of the restaurant staff. Rooms are clean and neat. Furnishings are

I was on a business trip and stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. The room was very clean though felt a bit dated and the bed was not comfortable and duvet not hotel quality. Further, wifi was a bit tricky to deal with as you need to enter username and password every time you connect and the connection was deipping every time you take your phone to sleep. It was a good practice on my mwmory to memorise random codes which also expired every 24 hours! I had breakfasts and dinners at the hotel as well and it was fine. The selection of food was mainly local but I always found what to eat and enjoyed it. What make my stay great though was the staff - top service!! Always there, amiling, helping, reacting to requests very promptly. I needed to call them iut for help a few times, needed directions etc and they were always immediately available and very helpful! I also used laundry service which was very good. One puece of advise, if you are taking a yellow cab back to the hotel, don't expect the taxi driver to know where to go and get your directions preloaded on the google maps or some other alternative. I used a fwe taxi deivers to whom I showed hotel's card with address and they only know how to get to Salt Lake City and had to ask locals (who also had no knowledge) from there.

This is a review of the main restaurant in the ground floor. We had gone for a quick lunch with a guest who was staying in the hotel. He had, thankfully, ordered his vegetarian Indian food in advance which came in an hour. But the two others (me included) ordered continental preparations and had to wait for more than an hour and a half. The guest had finished his lunch, and in frustration, left for his room to rest. After much cajoling our food was served. The chicken Risotto with corn was a disaster. Other guests, who presumably chose more conventional fare, were served earlier.

Hi, Recently, i had a lovely experience with The Sonnet Kolkata food and hospitality. We had a Client meet for a week in our office in Unitech and we ordered Lunch from The Sonnet. Different Menus were served and the Food was excellent. The price reasonable and the quality of food was very good. Thanks to Radhe Shaw for arranging for everything. We will get back to you again for the next client visit to Kolkata. Krish
