We booked 1 night here. We arrived after a long drive and a busy few days and spent our time here relaxing in the beautiful surroundings. The gardens are perfectly kept and there are animals to. Most of the food is grown in the garden and the milk is from the cows on the farm. It was honestly the best and the creamiest coffee ive ever had. The food is cooked fresh and was absolutely delicious. The traditional Kerala breakfast was also a great experience and very filling. The room is lovely and private and very clean. It would have been nice to stay ane extra night to take advantage of the activities on offer. Meals are 250INR per person. Excellent value. The afternoon tea and banana fritter was also appreciated!

We stayed 3 nights at this wonderful homestay. Thanks to the great hospitality of Mr. & Mrs. Jose Kuruvinakunnel and their son we could enjoy our stay very much. This homestay is surrounded by a wonderful garden and is located in a rubber plantation. Very quiet. Each day we enjoyed the most delicious Indian food, homemade by Mrs. Kuruvinakunnel. Thanks to them for their assistance in all our needs and for taking us to places of our interests.

Meenachil Enclave Homestay is truly a green Paradise. We stayed there for few days an each one filled our heart and soul.we also very much enjoyed relaxing there, walking around the interesting farm, sitting on the wonderful upstairs verandah watching the many birds around, the raising of the moon, doing yoga, or just looking into the various shades of green of all the different plants on the property. We also liked to walk around the interesting neighbourhood and into the beautiful fields and plantations nearby. The three of us felt so happy and in peace being there, on the farm and surrounded by the loving care of Mr & Mrs Jose Kuruvinakunnel and his son. He has such a good knowledge and interest in the culture and traditions of Pala and he is very passionate about organic farming. We also cant praise enough each one of Mrs Jose wonderful variety of meals, so healthy and so incredibly tasty!!!! Our room was spacious, light with many windows and a wonderful view into the green and colourful garden. Also the bathroom was big and clean with hot water always available. Mr & Mrs Jose and their son, we thank you from the depth of our hearts for your loving care, for the good and happy time we had at your very beautiful home and farm and for making every single day of our stay with you so very special. Definitely we will return and cant wait to do so.

Our stay with the Kuruvinakunnel family at their 4th generation rubber-plantation etstate was a special experience. The original house was well over a hundred years old but had been replaced by a modern house a few years ago. However some elements of the original had been retained and the new house was built along traditional lines, which is a Naalukettu design, house with an open courtyard. The overall feeling was airy and cool and there were beautiful gardens and a pool surrounding us.Frequent power cuts stopped the air-conditining in our room but an effective back-up system at the house kept the fan and lights going. One highlight of our stay was the fantastic food prepared by Mrs Kuruvinakunnel and her cook. There was an endless variety of delicious dishes, most made from fruit and vegetables organically grown on the estate. All the eggs and milk were from their own animals too, and the whole estate was organised in an ecologically integrated and self-contained way. E.g. the biogas from plant and animal waste was used for cooking. We did enjoy our walk to the beautiful gardens and rubber, Teak, and Banana etc groves on their estate. The other highlight of our stay was the wonderful drive the family kindly took us on, up into the high hills inland from their estate. We saw tea plantations, an ashram/dairy farm mysteriously shrouded in mist, and as we descended the monsoon broke andome points. Very memorable! We did appreciate their warmth and hospitality.
