What's Good: The view from the cliff and how well it is maintained
What needs to improve : Nothing much
Reason For Rating : Would be great if you could provide for preferences like check in and check out. Also, more details of the rooms opted in comparison to other rooms available would have been great.

What's Good: The greenery and the location of the room ( sea view)
What needs to improve : Room service could be a bit faster.
Reason For Rating : This is one of the best resort we have stayed in. To start with, it was a hassle free check in, very flexible, we reached early and within 10 mins we got to our room. The property is huge with lots of greenery around. The swimming pool near restaurant is big and was chemical free ( no chlorine and was neat and clean). The beach is nearby, have to walk around 10 - 15 mind. It's a nice stroll. They provide umbrella and a bench to relax ( free of cost) at the beach. The beach is neat and clean with only people from a couple of resorts around. The food is good, try the local cuisine. If you are non-veg, stick to the fish related delicacies. We stayed here for 2N/3D and was one of the best vacation. Finally, the check out was also fast.

What's Good: rooms and location
What needs to improve : hotel staff unprofessional approach
Reason For Rating : Hotel reception took 2 hours to provide us room by stating reason that they are cleaning the room. It was highly unprofessional and irritating. Only by interference from yatra.com staff that they provided us the room.

With the greenary overlooking the Arabian Sea the sight from Travancore Heritage is really an amazing one. With vast open space and well maintained lawn, the serene atmosphere at this resort is breath taking. The place is highly recommended for family get togethers also. The restaurant serves tasty food at reasonable cost. The stay at this resort was an unforgettable experience for my family.

The hotel grounds are lovely and well maintained with individual accommodations scattered around the property as well as some rooms within two blocks. The grounds are spread across the cliff top and at beach level and involve walking reasonable distances up and down fairly steep inclines. Good for exercise but less good if you are not reasonably fit. The grounds are watered daily which is great for the plants but unfortunately they use waste water that has the very unpleasant aroma of drains. In the hotel description they talk about a pristine beach. Rubbish in terms of a description and the amount of rubbish that covers the ground between the hotel and the sea. The beach is a significant walk from the hotel too. Other reviewers have mentioned the church below the hotel which broadcasts its service from 5:45am to 6:45 on Sundays and every other day during the week. Full volume via large speakers. A very unchristian thing to do and with no consideration for the neighbours. At night there is a heavy modern beat/music also broadcast at high volume from below the hotel. Recommend airline earplugs. Food is fine but unspectacular; only serve beer or wine by way of alcohol. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is an Ayurvedic spa attached to the hotel. A large number of guests are there for the spa programme. You can easily spot them as they are dressed in green dressing gowns looking like Jedi, carrying flasks containing detox liquids and smug expressions of the self righteous. There are 2 pools but not enough poolside sun beds and seats. Those that are there are badly maintained and uncomfortable. There are no staff around to provide food or refreshments around the pool and the seafood restaurant at beach level has been closed reducing food service options. In summary a pleasantly laid out property with space to relax beside 2 pools. Not a bad place to try and relax but with some significant outside issues of noise and filth.

This place has a beautiful architecture, with two swimming pools, spa, gift shops, and nicely decorated. The restaurant is nice. Staff are friendly and always quick to serve. One can easily access the beach on the Arabian Sea by using an elevator down.

Food quite nice but dining room staff could smile a little more. Room nice and out of the way. Best part is the beach. Take a lift down to get there. Beach is private for guests. The hottest weather I experienced on My Kerala tour also. They change money. Only real problem was church concert singing at very loud volume and for hours. Only every so often though. The hotel apologized about it. Good place and a really good beach. Would go again.

We had Visited the Travancore heritage Home from 04.01.19-10.01.19.. On the First Night we werde put in a Heritage ROOM. Although it was close to the Cliff overlooking the Beach, it was very close to a church. From Morning 7 a.m. Till 6 p.m. there was a lot of Noise and Music coming from the church. I believe the Wedding Season was going on. Thankfully the Recepetion Staff were very forthcoming and gave a Heritage cottage Farther away. This Place was much quiter and very pristine. All in all we can recommend the heritage hotel very much. Just See to it that you dont get a room close to the church.
