Though it was an unplanned trip and by chance we landed up in Jujurana Stays. For sure it was a lucky thing to happen. We had a great time for the next 2-3 days of our stay at Jujurana. A friendly host who could tell us exactly what all can we do to keep the 8 years old boy occupied, it's a nice place to walk down to the river or go for a 2-3 hours hike. A little stream passes through the property and the darkness of the night is filled by the sound of water. The food at Jujurana was commendable, we relished each meal, the highlight was a Trout Sizzler with veggies and french fries.

We love this place!! There is very little not to like about here, it's got that perfect balance of being away from the big smoke and not being way out in the sticks. It's the perfect little cozy cottage right besides a stream of crystal waters trickling down from the mountains. There's a little something for everyone, well appointed comfortable rooms with all the comforts of a big star hotel wrapped up in a rustic wooden cottage. The host Satyen is warm and welcoming and more than happy to keep you company should want or leave you alone when you need. The food is great and generous, the main activity areas are easily accessible should you wish to go trout fishing or take up a trek in Great Himalayan National Park. Evenings are best spent sitting around the bonfire sipping on Solan (local whiskey). Definitely recommended for those in groups, families and couples seeking a cozy getaway. It was nice to be in the country fresh air, The decor is simplicity, clean and comfy, food was excellent. 2 trips here already and I look forward to many more!

Jujurana cottage is literally like a Pearl in the Ocean of Valleys. Of all the places I have travelled to this is definitely one of the most beautiful and satisfying place I have been to. The cottage is owned by Satyen Wanchoo who (an acquaintance of our friend) is definitely a good host and company to talk to about flora and fauna around the Tirthan valley. He has been living here for years and has come up with a beautiful cottage that can accommodate 2 couples or a group of friends who can either have a peaceful or an electrifying party scene. Apart from the living room (with a built in fire place for winters) and kitchen the cottage on this property boats of ample parking space, two bedrooms, a beautiful balcony to sit in early mornings or late nights, lots of open space and the most interesting part of the entire place an open living room in the canopy of deodar trees and a stream of water flowing by. If you are amongst the peace seeker traveller lots then this is one of the best bets to explore the nature, birds, river, sky, mountains and life in not so fast city. The in house chef and caretaker Mr. Bunti is an extremely polite guy and an excellent cook too. The meals prepared for both lunch and dinner were mouth-watering and came unexpected in a touristy place like Kullu or Manali. In terms of location yes it is remote but thats the idea of a relaxed holiday where you dont need to worry about time and just have a good time. The experience of staying at Jujurana will surely make one of the wishes come true which most of the urban people have to live on hills. Even though we didnt get a chance to go for long nature walks (except for a short walk to the nearby liquor vend) the nearby areas should definitely be on a to do list during the visit.

situated in a beautiful quiet remote valley , next to a clear mountain stream! Surrounded by nature including stunning bird life! The accommodation, and food was excellent, although a dinning table would have been an asset. Wonderful shower! The owner Satyen is a really good host and very friendly with a good knowledge of the local birds! Our houseman Bundi was great, friendly, polite and very helpful!
