What's Good: The property was good and well maintained. Good breakfast and dinner.
What needs to improve : Pest control seems to be not in place. Non availability of proper parking space for guests.
Reason For Rating : The resort was calm and clean. The staffs were really helpful. Great breakfast and dinner was also nice. Pool is maintained properly. There were not much flaws for the property. The room where we stayed had some issues, couldn't close the doors properly and mosquito nets were not properly installed. Other than these small issues, things were good.

The accommodation is in little buildings along paths. The decor was shabby and the room was dismal. 4 coat hangers in a double room is not adequate. The bathrooms are a strange affair, part of the roof was glass over a pebbled area so it was like a sauna in there. The door would not stay open so it was very unpleasant. To get hot water you had to switch on a water heater. It was only for one night, thank goodness. The pool area was lovely overlooking the lake.

Stayed here in December '18 Watching the sun set in the pool in the evening after a long day exploring was a daily staple. Housekeeping left our room in immaculate condition every day and were really friendly, Presenna who we met was really lovely.

Part of our fabulous extended Golden Triangle trip that has taken onward from Mumbai down to Kerala and organised by Mr Karni of Swastik India Journeys which has looked after us superbly throughout our month in India. Providing very knowledgeable tour guides and most importantly our driver new driver for this southern journey Ramesh taking care of us and ensuring our journeys were safe and comfortable. The hotel complex was set by the lake shore as were most other places and all ranging in quality stars, I think ours was in the 3-4* for the area and on the budget side .... however what great place it was. Small cottages were spread throughout the well kept grounds and the lake close enough to dangle your feet in. The gardens were a lovely green and extremely well kept giving the place a tranquil feel. Our cottage was spacious and well laid out accompanied by its own veranda and very large bed. We had a fan and air con plus an adequate bathroom that had a netted but open roof to it, all very different but nice. The pool was large and with an enclosed kids bit plus it was very warm which we enjoyed. It was all clean and tidy. There were about a dozen or so beds to choose from which was fine fir our visit. You easily spend a few days here and there were opportunities to go out on a boat or catch a tut tut to the local shops. The restaurant was large and well ventilated and had a good menu plus snacks for lunchtime. In the evening they had a buffet service which was wide in choice and high in quantity.. all fir 600 rupees including desert ... all as with reception, great service. I forgot to mention we were upgraded to a lake view cottage. Overall a really good place to stay for a few days and one we can thoroughly recommend.

If you expecting an extravagant experience then I will not suggest this resort, it's a budget resort with average amenities. You will find better resorts in similar prices. The bathrooms are not that good, they require serious renovation of their rooms. The food was ok.

Three of my family members travelled to Kerala from Oct.31 to Nov.10th.We booked our entire tour package( Hotel + Taxi+ Sightseeing) directly with Abad Group of Hotels. Chef catered to our individual request for special meals.Booking changes were accommodated at the last moment,Rooms were upgraded and we were given a royal services everywhereI have travelled to many countries in the world, but I would rate Abad experience as one of my best..
