What's Good: The staffs despite such extreme weather trying their best to serve the customers. Nice location. Breathtaking beauty around. Good variety in the breakfast.

The stay is in Camp so please be sure you can stay in camps. This is one of the best camps that i have stayed. Located just in front of lake you can walk to the lake. The roads are little kaccha but does take you to this location. They do have parking for vehicles. This is the first camp with attached bathroom and not shared and hence the expenses are high. Beds in camps are average and can be more clean. Washrooms were clean. But no hot water in morning. Breakfast and dinner in dining hall and are delicious. Staff is active and very friendly. They had bonfire as well in night.

Pros: Wonderful staff Decent huts with great lake view Good quality tents and nice amenities. Did not feel cold inside the tent Cons: Not exactly on the lake. One has to walk around a km to reach the lake

Its just a place where you can sleep in night, please dont expect anything else here. This place killed my entire trip mood and experience. if you plan a trip to Leh?Ladakh first thing which comes to your mind is Pengon TSO, same was true with me also. I booked a deluxe category of package and got this tent allocated for my Pengon stay, though I was aware that in Pengon we have less facilities available and I was also not looking for a hi-fi stay but stay at Blue water was worst part of my travel. That the reason first time I am rating any stay as 2 starts in my entire Trip Advisor journey of years. This accommodation is farthest from lake, you have to walk almost 900 meters ( yes its a good distance on 14500 ft) if you want to touch lake water that too when we reached Pengon it was raining and even if rain stoped for few mins it was impossible for us to go till lake because of its distance from Blue water camp. if I would have stayed in any other place which is closer to lake even 10 mins of time would have been enough for me. Lost entire evening and next morning time because of rain and distance of blue water from lake. There are min 10-20 other tent accommodations which are closer to lake so one should prefer that over blue water. As far as service are concerned dont expect anything, we had small kid and elderly people with us and kept on asking for extra blanket as weather was cold enough but in return we just got assurance that "we will see if we have any extra and provide", after begging for min 10 time we got one extra blanket. If you want to spend some time on lake and enjoy with family you should avoid this place as even if itsn not raining a distance of walking/climbing 900 meters matters on height of 14500 ft.

Not good not bad...View is perfect. This camp is second from the lake in sequence.Rooms are average not delighted to see the inside of the camp but basic facilities are there....one night stay will not be that bad. Food was also ok...nothing new.

The tents are not that great. But definitely not as bad as some people here suggest. I would actually rate it 4, But because this place has seen bad reviews it does not deserve, I'm rating it 5 to increase their rating. The camp is a bit far from the lake. But to be frank, its more good than bad. Its so cold that you don't want to be anywhere near the lake, but still enjoy the beauty of Pangong and that is what this place offers. An amazing view of the pangong lake with the mountains in the backdrop. You can just sit outside your camp and enjoy the view all day long. But when its night, there's not a lot you can do outside because its incredibly cold. The tents are very comfortable and warm as long as you zip the door properly. The bedding is warm and you don't feel too cold once you are inside the camp. The toilet was clean and lights were on once it became dark till about 11 PM. The food though was a big turn off. I know its hard to find quality food in such a remote place. But the quality of food served here was incredibly poor. There's no way but to live with that because there's nothing but tents nearby and it'd be very difficult to find something else to eat nearby. Kudos to the staff though. They did their best to make us feel good.
