We checked in 3 times in the hotel during our 9 day trip to Leh and places around beautiful Ladhak from 17th Sep till 26th Sep. The food was very good. The service rendered by staff was outstanding. Some major observations are, hot water starts coming in the taps only after one has wasted 8/9 bucketsof precious potable water. This according to me was a criminal act wasting precious national and natural resource. The owner ( as told to us ) Mr Salim Khan when told was not only offensive but was very rude, crude and arrogant. His behaviour shocked us since we were extremely dignified and polite. Moreover this was the first time in our 45 years of travel the world over we came across such a shocking and obnoxcious behaviour from a very very senior personnel in the hospitality industry. The rooms are ok but it seems minor complaintslike bulb fused, wall bracket loose, used writing pads, absence of exhaust fans in bathrooms in the humid wx of Leh etc etc are not being taken care of or there is no system of feedback n supervision by the House keeping staff.

The hotels location is in the main town of Leh. View is excellent based on your room. Some rooms are really spacious with great view, some are cramped up. Service is great we got what we wanted, food is monotonous but the great part is Mr Selim arranged special dishes for us when we asked for, that was really a great service. We were a family of 4 with 16 members and half of them kids, the management was ready to help us every way possible, even as our flight back was in the early morning they packed our breakfast. Loved their service. The complaints would be regarding the toilets as there was no shower enclosure or curtain the whole toilet got wet, the beds were hard and not comfortable, ventilation in the rooms need to be improved. Overall it was a good experience due to the service and as we had spacious rooms.

The hotel has varied rooms but ambience is very nice. Choose rooms from A-wing as they had a good view. Food is delicious and staff are very co operative. The only issue is they keep dessert quite simple. Hotel is over crowded during our stay. 2 km from main market and 5 kms from airport. We enjoyed our one week stay there. Tip: Leh airport take atleast 2.5 hr to check-in. Keep the time factor in mind specially if you are in big groups.

The Hotel is located just next to the hospital. We all know Leh has rare oxygen so first 2-3 days the body takes time. So being next to the hospital is very advisable. The Hotel has few nice mountain view rooms. So if you get a chance of being in those rooms your stay will be memorable. The Hotel food is very very expensive. The breakfast and dinner which was included in our package was very very predictable. Every second day the food repeated. We had to change our program as one of our team member met with an accident, but hotel was over booked so was unable to make any changes. As a big hotel we expected them to have some flexible policies but was not possible. The rest of the sty as told before was very average.

The ambience, service and the food are awesome. The location too is great. It's at walking distance from both the market and the main chowk. The staff is warm and helpful. However, please see which room you are getting as they have varied sizes and only a few of them have a great view.
