  • Over priced, Poor rooms but nice premises

    by Deepankar K on

You require a cab / your car to explore this place since this premises is spread in 25000 acres. The hotel charges two Grans for unlimited travelling. But again the car cannot go till your rooms. it's a combination of cab and buggi by which you reach places. In calling a cab, a lot of time is wasted. This place has only 4 restaurants in such a big area and accommodation and that too with very limited food options. Food quality is good but it is not worth the price. The breakfast buffet was quite good. Had all the food variety. The rooms size were decent but not upto the mark. The POP of room wall was uneven. The washroom flush button was in bad shape. Water kept flowing in it. The sofa cum bed was broken and it was adjust by the staff after calling. It was an old room booked for 10 grans. Not really worth it. For every other activity one has to pay. The staff however was quite courteous and cooperative. The overall stay was quite expensive. I reckon people to visit Kerala / South East Asia in that budget after the passing by of Corona virus phase.

  • One of the best experiences ever!

    by KJtravelingisabliss on

WOW - our visit to Aamby Valley City was truely memorable - one that we'll cherish forever! (I'm not exaggerating). With super-smooth roads, lush greenery, multiple lakes, ample number of activities such as indoor sports complex, swimming pool etc., this place stands out and how! Not to forget the amazingly beautiful fountain show - it's an international level experience, probably one of the best fountain shows in the world. Also, the Gujarati-Marwadi thali at Manuhaar restaurant is the most delicious one I've ever had! All in all, a fantastic stay and experience. The room was also very spacious and well-designed. Only 2 negatives - housekeeping team can do a better job, and overall pricing of everything is little too much esp. Namak restaurant - but hey, there are more feasible options within the same place and in Lonavala which is not too far. So the positives are way too good and strong! Hence 5 stars! Go for it!

  • Worse food worse hospitality. Indistinguishable.

We came for a 3 day break. Once we checked in we went to woodpecker restaurant. The food was really bad and service was very slow. Half restaurants were shut. It was absolutely not up to the mark. Never coming back.

  • Peaceful,beautiful property, expensive

    by mona_meh13 on

We went as a group of 3 friends along with a baby. The room was very spacious with a lovely sitout, staff courteous. Beautiful property. Delicious food we had dinner buffet at the continental restaurant n complimentary breakfast which was lavish n delicious. Cons - it's a very expensive property to stay in. We paid for an extra bed but we're given a very uncomfortable sofa cum bed. - there was a torn curtain which u don't expect in a luxurious property like this - the table on the sitout hadud n food stains n was dirty. - they charge extra for everything. 500/- per head for fountain show, 150 to 300/- for cab to go from your room to the resort restaurant to have food which is ridiculous... These things should be complementary when room n food charges are so high. And it is travel within the resort, so the management should provide for it. Complimentary.

  • FAKE PRICES AND OVER CHARGING

    by abhinandankavdia on

I am highly dissatisfied from group like Sahara. You are one of the best groups not only in India , but all across the world. And You are charting higher even for Water Bottle by charging it in the head of soft drinks. Not expected from you people such unethical things Apart from this some of the people in staff were not at all friendly.. Some staff people misguided us for billing in restraunt and we had to pay much higher unnecessarily. It was waste pf money for us PS:- whosover reading this n going to this place PLEASE CHECK YOUR BILLS PROPERLY BEFORE PAYING THEM THEY ARE CHARGING FAKE CHARGES AND VERY HIGH FOR WATER BOTTLE even ..

  • We stayed at Spanish Cottage - it was good enough :)

by KJtravelingisabliss on March 11, 2020

  • Aussie chalets offer a great view which are closer to the pool. Suggest the upper floors and the ground floor.

  • Do take your own Car or hire one, as it is must to roam about and enjoy the property.

  • Spanish Cottage rooms on the east side are quieter & have better view.
