Worn out n old
by RAJEEV7868 on September 1, 2016
Hi friends Had been there a year back n stayed in their suite with jacuzzi but was very disappointed to see the state in which bijis is currently Firstly very arrogant staff at the reception (short lanky guy wit moustache) The room no 3 of the honeymoon suite was shown n was in real bad shape with the stench of no ventilation being very obvious , the shapeless mattress bulging from sides n dipping in middle, cracks in jacuzzi n badly lit room gives a spooky feeling Not at all worthy of 6500 rs they ask for when u can get much better room at half the cost ahead near the market area Very disappointed n will never visit again
Poor Hotel, Poor Services

Your stay in this hotel might spoil the fun which Lonavala has to offer. First of all, the hotel has leakages in almost every place. Reception, Games room, dining room, almost every where. Knowing that Lonavala has some heavy and frequent rainfalls, the management has failed to take a note of it and maintained the place very poorly. Secondly, the food is also not very good. Then, the basic amenities which you expect in a hotel room are not there. The towels are stained and of very poor quality. No exhaust in the bathrooms. Just a couple of tiny soaps and a couple of shampoo sachets. The Beds are not vey comfortable. All in all, you shouldn't go if you are habitual of staying in nice hotels. Not up to the mark of a 3-star hotel.

Visited Biji's retreat for one of the conferences in June 2016. The property as such is a good property but not maintained at its best. There are lot of unattended places those need repair. This hotel is close to Mumbai and at a starting point of Lonavala near L&T training center. Road to reach the hotel is remote but also gives a good view from the actual resort. When you are out on a highway, many places/ attractions in Lonavala are very close by. Food at Biji's was overall ok and not that great. Maybe they must have prepared different catering for the conference guests. But if this the same food for all then it was average.

I guess it's going not great but just fine. It may have been great in the past but needs a new look I guess. As it looks old never the less I still enjoyed myself staff attitude was warm and friendly so plus points for that.
Average Hotel not worth the money

Pros - 1) The meals provided in buffet for breakfast, lunch n dinner were good except for soups 2) Rooms were neat well maintained 3) Ample of space available for playing outdoor games etc. 4) Rain dance, Discotheque and swimming pool is available. Cons - 1) Soups what ever they provided like manchow soup, tomato soup and hot n sour soup were terrible. 2) Room service was extremely poor. I had to call twice for everything I needed 3) They don't provide all the foods mention in the menu like for eg they don't make szillers but they have mentioned it and if you ask them why? They said it came by mistake ... The entire szillers column came by mistake. 4) Foods n drinks they provide are in certain timing they don't provide drinks after 11pm. If you need it they will buy from outside and charge you double and you won't get food like lollipop, chicken crispy etc after 11pm and between 3 pm- 7pm. 5) I was in room no. 402. The Jacuzzi was not clean, not serviced and not working... When I on the water, dirt was coming from the water and it stinks badly. Maintenance guy said that the housekeeping don't clean properly but serviceing is their duty. 6) Honeymoon room is near the swimming pool and rain dance. If a person wants to sleep in afternoon time or not well then you won't get to do it. Lot of disturbance of people playing, dancing and the DJ. Conclusion - Lot of improvement is needed in room service and maintenance department and this place is good for those who are in groups not for couples.
