My wife, myself and my late furry doggie daughter stayed at the lovely & serene bungalow this January with a visiting friend from Australia. Such a beautiful place with quiet surroundings away from the hustle & bustle of the ever crowded Lonavala hill station. It is a very well maintained 3 BHK bungalow with clean & tidy rooms. The front yard was lush with greenery and mango & jackfruit trees. There is also a ready kitchen & you can cook whatever you want. And if you do not want to cook, food can be made available on prior notice. A local village 'maushi' comes and dishes up some great home cooked food for you! And it is an apt and wonderful place for pets! Our dog way so happy being there, running around the property and having a blast! It is a perfect place for a quiet getaway. A total value for money! Just imagine having a whole villa for yourself compared to the exorbitant price one pays for a luxury room at a high end hotel. And a very special thanks to the lovely owner who was so very warm and helpful towards all our requested needs. Excellent hospitality. Well done Stacey, please take a bow!

We visited this quaint bungalow in July on a family trip. With clean rooms, quiet surroundings, friendly owners and trees all around, we had a lovely stay. They don't give to bachelors or noisy groups. Food is your arrangement but with prior notice they could do breakfast for you.

As you know Mumbai can be a very stressful city. Probably one of the top most stressful places on earth with a hot and humid climate mixed in with smoke from pollution, frustrating traffic, noise and an unreliable nature of everything when you need to get your work done... you get the picture, right? So, not too far from this insane city is this lovely place called Casa de Mama. You can have a peaceful get-away from the insane city in 2 hours. And if you plan your travel at the right time, getting out of city and avoiding the awful traffic isn't so bad. But check Google Maps on when to leave. The road to get to Lonavala is easy 90% of the way, it's just at the end one needs to be careful before taking the exit due to the curves. As for this place, it's super chill. There is no Wifi, so make sure to arrive with the expectation of seriously unplugging. We went to stay for 2 nights with our dog. She absolutely loved the place and had a blast running around the property. The hosts are incredibly sweet and kind!! Very accommodating. They let me cook whatever I wanted and I was able to bring my own food. It really felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend and will be coming back with our dog!

"Its my mom's house " said Stacey on enquiring does she own the property ? which means " Casa de Mama ".We were 7 colleagues who decided to spend some time together over the weekend as i was serving my notice and would be gone in a matter of 2 weeks time.its seemingly difficult to leave colleagues with whom you have worked for 5 long years . We enjoyed the stay at the house. The hostess and her staff was accommodating and helpful. We liked the home cooked food which we enjoyed over the bonfire. The place is quite, clean and functional.Would highly recommend to groups or families who want to spend quality time with each other or self, the entire ambience turns nostalgic with kishore kumar songs . All the very best to Stacey,Mom, Maushi and Hanumant , May want to go back there very soon

Me and my fiance spent 3 nights here (including new years' eve). What we loved about the place was: 1. Very respectful host 2. Away from the hustle bustle of the town yet only a 5 minutes drive from the main market 3. The shared lobby and kitchen - this is a great add-on. We ended up spending a lot of time here so we literally had a villa to ourselves at the price of a room 4. Good quality, home-cooked meals available on request 5. Value for money (compared to the terribly high price that one pays for low quality hotels, this was definitely much better) Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet retreat! Well done Stacey!
