Hi!! Visited this rental last weekend to celebrate Father's Day with my extended family. It was really disappointing to see such a beautiful property so ill maintained. Broken showers, cockroach and little spider on bed, really bad bed sheets n pillow covers, dust covered utensils to name a few were the highlight of my stay. Nt to forget leaky pipes and walls. For the exorbitant amount they are charging , it's a waste to be there. There was no one even to serve you a cup of tea in morning, or even a single appliance in kitchen, which I guess is the should have been there. I have a toddler and also my granny was with me. Because of one wrong booking my weekend was badly spoilt. I would not recommend this property to anyone with same mind. Seriously the ambience , building and all is too good but if you talk about maintenance a really ill maintained property.

Stayed there two times. We were a group of about 10 friends who chose to stay here. - Getting there was very easy - Place was listed on Google Maps. - Owners/Care takers were ALWAYS on board to help us. - Clean rooms, great view and spacious environment. - No hassles, literally walked in, spent the weekend and left the location. - TV had Tata Sky service that had run out. Luckily we checked this the first thing we reached and informed the caretaker. He arranged for the service to be back within 15 minutes!! and Free of charge. Great part of goodwill on their part. 10/10 would recommend. And every trip now on I will be staying nowhere else!

We are a family of eight (including seniors and toddlers) and were looking for a weekend break that everyone would enjoy. A friend recommended Patodia Estate and we were glad we took his suggestion. We had a wonderful time amid luxurious facilities and I even told the owners who were around to make sure our stay was comfortable that the place is a steal for the rates they charged us. The location is ideal, just a 5-minute drive from the market and the bungalow has all the facilities you may need for everyone in the family. My 75-year-old grandmother enjoyed walking and lounging around the lush garden and my brother and bhabhi were glad to see that they could make use of the kitchen to cook quick meals for the kids. The caretakers were very accommodating and our requests for extra mattresses, hammocks, even milk cartons for the little ones were promptly fulfilled without any complaints. You feel part of a small but exclusive community with spacious villas around you and there's also the owner's adorable dog for the kids to play with. As for me, I took my favourite book and reclined in the complimentary lounge chair -- it made for hours of peaceful reading in beautiful surroundings and I came back home to Bombay feeling fresher than ever before.

Our family after almost 15 years, with great excitement ventured for a weekend of fun in August 2013 to the misleading Patodia Estatein Lonavala As the above caption states our experience of the so called Villas was nothing short of a few scenes out of a horror movie. Our first reaction when we arrived at the place was complete shock ------------ The promised two villas were actually located one behind the other, connected by a path way/road , which was steep, slippery and mud sledged, (instead of being next to each other with a common garden). A few of the family members had nasty accidents resulting in injury to their back. This property is a classic example of a place which has not been maintained and obviously little do the owners care:- Both the Villas were full of leakages with musty, damp odor in all rooms. Some of the rooms had massive leakage with extremely clammy walls. Broken beds another specialty of the space. In one of the rooms, it appeared the legs of the bed had broken, hence the bed was kept on the floor against a moist and leaking wall. The condition of the mattresses less spoken the better, as this again caused injury to a an elderly family members back The much promised TV and fridge facility existed only in one Villa- and this Villa had the maximum dampness on the walls, making it unfit to even sit The linen had foul odor. Considering we needed extra mattresses in all rooms ( which was conveyed well in advance) , the place did not have sufficient pillows and blankets The dismal utensils, crockery and cutlery existing in the kitchen were dirty and we often managed with disposables The deceptive photographs of the Villas online, perhaps would have been taken when the space was newly created hence, completely misleading in its current condition Whilst booking and paying the advance money, the fact we had a family member on a wheel chair was communicated. Unfortunately- the Villa had steep steps and thanks to the young men in the family we managed to carry the wheel chair over the steps else we would have not known what to do The list of our woes can just go on and on --------------------------------- The saving grace of the place was:- Clean toilets The care takers were very cooperative, always available and helpful in their limited capacity. This space is highly NOT RECOMMENDED. We booked this premise, based on the feedback we read on tripadvisor and now we hope our review helps save others from the ordeal we suffered.

Perfect getaway from the maddening city life! I've been to Patodia's thrice, and it continues to remain my favorite place to stay in Lonavala for times to come. Beautiful interiors, spacious & comfortable accommodation and lush green lawns make for an ideal time off. Distance from the local market is not less, not more. Just 10 minutes drive from the market should you need to get anything, and far enough for a relaxed and idyllic stay. Looking forward to my next visit! :)
