What's Good: Huge resort area with absolutely stunning view. Restaurant has buffet as well as a-la-carte options. View from the restaurant is also good. Nature trail within the resort with waterfalls. Rooms are specious, neatly maintained and clean. Morning complimentary breakfast was good and had a variety of items. Valet parking available. Cars are parked in an open area.
What needs to improve : Restaurant buffet is costly. Swimming pool water was not clear probably due to heavy rains. Approach road is narrow and allows little place for two cars to pass.
Reason For Rating : Absolutely amazing views

What's Good: Location
What needs to improve : Expensive food
Reason For Rating : Undoubtedly the best located property in lonavala. Amazing location and climate. Very spacious resort, nice rooms, looks like they were renovated just a few months back. The staff was very polite and helpful. Almost each room has a breathtaking view. One can sit endlessly in the balcony or pool side or on the deck. Only disadvantage of this hotel is its over priced food! The ala carte menu is very limited and sky high expensive. Travellers need to carry some food and bitings to save their pocket from being dug deep. Overall, I would visit this place again and again.

What's Good: Location and view is amazing
What needs to improve : Not value formoney.. food is exorbitantly costly as if hotel is at Mount Everes
Reason For Rating : Not worth..not value for money..food is too costly and I guess management focus is more on corporate events and bookings..I would not recommend this for to any family..

What's Good: Scenic beauty
What needs to improve : Overpriced food. Average to poor maintenance.
Reason For Rating : The property is located at the top of a hill and away from the main town. There is a lot of scenic beauty. On the other hand, it is not particularly well maintained. The food in the restaurant is prohibitively expensive and priced higher than 5 star hotels in Mumbai. Clearly taking advantage of the fact that being inaccessible, the guests have no where else to go. The place is nice but overrated considering the cost.

Maximum points for the view, the property has awesome view during monsoon. We stayed here on 12-14th july for 2 nights for company offsite. Service was good.. We stayed in room num 134 which was very spacious and has attached balcony, some of the other rooms were not that spacious specially the ones in reception building. Staff was attentive, buffet spread was average, could have more variety in desserts. Overall decent stay but the management could work a little more on maintaining the property as the room rate online is a overpriced.

Visited on 3rd July and stayed for two days with wife and son. Believe me the views from the resort are stunning.. Specially in monsoon. It has so many Deck to sit and enjoy the views. The cottages are specious. The lunch and dinner buffet are a bit costlier but the menu is good and food is tasty. Activity room has only tt table, and carrom so no much to do inside... Go there to stay outside and enjoy. We loved to be there.

*My Tripadvisor review* Had booked a cottage room at the Upper Deck resort which is situated at the highest peak of Lonavla. My getaway one night outing can be described as follows: Pros: 1. Beautiful location offering a breathtaking view. 2. Well-maintained room with good balcony sit-out. 3. Swimming pool located in midst of a panoramic view. 4. Decent breakfast spread. 5. No wi-fi and little or no range in the resort. For you to decide whether it is good or bad. Cons: 1. Exorbitant room rate (this might be due to the prime location offering majestic views, weekend and peak season factors). But this is something the management really needs to relook into. 2. Exorbitant buffet rates Rs. 750 + taxes. 3. A la carte has limited options. No room service for food, which is very strange. 4. Few companies hold their off-site events here. In case you go during such a time, be ready for high decibel levels which goes on for most part of the day and night. The management needs to look into this issue as there are other patrons who have paid a bomb to experience some peace of mind in midst of mother nature. The events should probably be held at some isolated area cut off from where people have booked rooms. If such an arrangement can be made, then nothing like it. 5. One more thing that needs to be mentioned is the balconies in all the rooms can be easily accessed by occupants of the next rooms. (Though it is very unlikely that people would intrude into others' privacy) Overall, a beautiful scenic getaway which is just 2:30 hrs from Mumbai. Pool time, gazing at the majestic views, and nothingness can actually rejuvenate you.

We stayed here for 1 night over the weekend. The resort is at the highest point in Lonavala. The drive near the resort is on narrow roads and need to drive safely especially when there are cars coming in the opposite direction. The rooms are spread out. Our rooms were close to the reception and the restuarants. As this is spread over a hilly area, there is a lot of walking to be done to get around the facilities. We had to get down quite a few stairs to get to the pool. The pool is decently sized and the kids pool also has a waterfall kind of set up which the kids love playing in. The rooms that we had were quite large in size and the bathrooms were also huge and seemed to be recently renovated. However, the rooms were a bit dated and should be renovated. We had an issue with our TV sets but the staff was quick enough to resolve the issue. There is only 1 restaurant here - so lunch, dinner and breakfast at the same place. While ordering a la carte, there was quite a delay in getting the food served. The staff seemed to be struggling. Even the buffet breakfast, the situation was the same. It seemed they weren't prepared to handle a resort full with guests. The breakfast spread was decent and good. The best part is the views that one can see from the resort's open area. Amazing views of the ghats and the lake.
