Have stayed here twice in the last 1 year. Major plus point is the location - 10 - 15 mins walking distance from Hazratganj. This is a place for people who are looking for cheap accomodation. Definitely not a luxury guest house so dont keep expectations high. Rooms are clean - stayed on the ground floor - where the rooms are old. However, the upper floors have been renovated and seem to be better. There is no lift so do keep that in mind. They also do have a kitchen with a fairly decent menu. There is a 24 hr check in which also is a plus point. Service is good. However, you will encounter everyone from the waiter to the cleaner to the watchman asking for tips. Don't worry, in case you do not wish to tip just be stern with them else just ignore!

Central location. The hotel is very dated and not the cleanest. The staff were very attentive, though also very persistent in constantly wanting baksheesh. The hotel porter kept on appearing out of nowhere with his hand out for baksheesh and even though we tipped generously it became incredibly annoying. Hotel bill was also a bit dubious, written on scrap paper and not itemised. Seemed to be a bit extravagant, though we had a train to catch and did not have time to argue the point. If they gave the hotel a good clean and educated the staff to chill out a bit, it would be a good place to stay. Unfortunately this is not the case and hence would not recommend this place to a rabid monkey. This place also does not have wifi.
