Nice traditional Dhaba

Went for an lunch . This is an old traditional Dhaba . Ambience is not plush and only minimalist . They have AC section also . They provide free buttermilk on the house . All their dishes are good . When I come to Ludhiana I have my business lunch here
Perfect for travellers

A perfect stop-by place on NH-1 highway is this Zimindari dhaba. Do have their typical punjabi breakfast of pranthas and lassi. Also hygiene is taken complete care of. Good stoppage for the families travelling to delhi.
Average dhaba !!

Located near to Ludhiana Airport at Shanewal. Its a typical highway dhaba with AC and Non-AC seating arrangements. We asked for Non-Veg food, they said we need to go to their Resort/Bar, which was located next to the dhaba. We went there, but waiter said Tandoori items (bread, naan, paratha) will take time, as it comes from the Dhaba kitchen, not from the resort kitchen. This made us crazy and we decided to go back to Dhaba and have Veg food. We ordered Paneer and Mushroom dishes with Naan, Paratha. Mushroom taste was pathetic, however Paneer and Parathas were satisfactory. Butter Milk (Chhach) is complementary, you can have as much you want.

This is on the Delhi - Amritsar Highway on the outskirts of Ludhiana . Ambience is an typical dhaba type . An very old Establishment . Pure veg . Butter milk is free in an jug . We had roti , mix veg with planner and dhall fry . The highlight was an Delicious Gajrela . The winters bring the best carrots in north India ...
Worst food quality n service ever

We were 6 frens coming back from Dalahauzi to delhi. Based on reviews on Google we decided to hv dinner at zimidara. At counter we were told that non veg is served in our restro side by..a unit of zimidara. Counter manager accepted the order for tandoori chick , seekh kabab and malai tikka with mutton curry. Suddenly he started denying that now it's 11.00 pm and chef will ask for over time salary. We offered him that we will pay u OT. then chef came at counter and started refusing. High voltage drama continued for 10 mins . However they took the whole money in advance and agreed on packing the food. To my surprise they processed the whole order in 10 mins and delivered it to our tempo traveler side by. When we opened the parcel it was not tandoori..it was boiled..only mutton gravy was satisfactory. Ultimately we hv to throw it outside bcoz it was non eatable .. tasteless..and then we took our dinner at Ambala cantt 2 hrs later. Beware of these types of staff n restro We are only captured one time highway customers for them.
