We stayed here for 3 days.Place is beautiful surrounded by coffee estate. However downside to this place is food. Food was terrible even when you request for some items aunty can't prepare. If you are looking for just a homely stay with good scene with forest get away this is the place.None of the food items prepared was good. Uncle gave us a home made wine you should taste it.

Bougan Villa is as special and unique as its name. Infact, now that i think of it, no other name can actually do justice to this little gem of a place. Hidden away in a gorgeous coffee estate in Coorg, some distance away from Madikeri, the property is a estate house with pristine lawns and flowers with an extra shade of color over everything you could have imagined. Special word for the Villa garden. My mother confessed that she had never seen flowers this gorgeous! Let me just say that our pics did not need any special filters for the trip. We were here in the monsoons and the weather was rather harsh however, it could not dampen our spirits and dilute the wild beauty of the Villa. There is a lovely trail within the estate to a beautiful pond that just took my breath away. It's surrounded by lovely bamboo shoots and, is a deep emerald green in color. On the hosts, Roopa and her husband are a absolutely delightful couple who make you realize what it takes to be the best in hospitality. Super energetic, Roopa is an accomplished chef with her sumptuous Coorgi food fare and, keeps the engine running smoothly. The rooms are spacious, squeaky clean and open into a a quaint veranda that reminds you of the yore. Don't miss this amazing and very complete travel experience for anything. Highly highly recommend.

We stayed here with extended family for two days. The place is well maintained, one section of the building is extended as homestay, with two rooms. The homestay part is polished and extremely well maintained while the other section is well maintained. The hosts are neither intrusive nor too distant and detached. Neither are they business minded. Both the rooms are attached and has two bigs cots each (with good quality quilts). The rooms, bathroom and veranda(which doubles up as dining room) are spic and span, looking spanking new. The food tastes great, the fare being coorgi. The host also makes homemade wines which you get to taste( with an option to buy). The view from the verandah is magnificent, overseeing greenery. The house is deep inside a coffee estate which is around 20 Kms from coorg. The only grouse is the that if you plan to reach post dark, it will be difficult to find your way( at least on first day). They have a back up generator and inverter in case electricity decides to play spoilsport. You can also take a stroll to a large pond inside the estate. Best for family, value for money seekers who want to spend value time with family in the homestay. If your aim is to cover maximum places in and around coorg in least possible time choose a hotel in the city

We were blessed to have both the rooms booked for us since we were a group of 5. This meant that we had the Homestay for ourselves. Amazing hospitality. Excellent food. Very clean atmosphere. Mr. & Mrs. Bheemaiah have gone great lengths to make every person visiting feel at home, which is evident in the way they engage with you, the food they serve, in the way the rooms are presented. Not just the interiors, even garden outside is inviting with very colorful and different kinds of flowers. We never felt like we were away from our home. Icing on the cake was the heavy rains that lashed which made the experience even more memorable. The home stay is very approachable with awesome drive covered with greenery all around. Location is away from any main road and it is quite and tranquil. A must visit homestay. Naveen and Sowmya

I stayed in this home stay with my family in the month of December,2016. The place is really in a serene locality, away from hustle and bustle of the city. Owner of the homestay Roopa Madam guided us very well and by follow her instruction we easily reach the place. After reaching there we really mesmerized of the beauty of the place. My wife and my sister just dance for a while by seeing everything. We are really overwhelmed by the warm welcome of Mr and Mrs Beemiah. The rooms are very spacious with modern bathroom. Surrounding areas are awesome. Food prepared by Roopa Madam is awesome. We taste new food Appam and Akki Roti and it was superb. Home made wine was also irresistible. We feel just a home away home. Specially they guide us very well and by follow their instructions we visited Iruppu falls which was splendid. I strongly suggest all the visitors who wish to stay little away from the city inside a lush green estate like a king and enjoy the clear sky with diamonds like star please please visit the place. Roopa Madam and her husband were just superb and we really miss them. My daughter still remembering Roopa aunty for her chicken kababs. Wish you good luck Madam and Sir, hope we will meet again.
