About Place: ---------------- This is a wonderful place cuddled inside the lower palani hills filled with delight for nature lover and bird watchers. They have wide variety of plants that include Coffee Bean, Oranges, and Pepper vines with few exotic species of trees and indigenous fruit bearing plants. Activities in Trip: -------------------- Trial walk into Estate guided by the host Mr. Soundara Pandian explaining about the different plant species and ecological diversity in that area. You could easily spot different varieties of Birds species in this place. You could get loads of information from the host about the place. He is a very knowledgeable person and makes sure you have a memorable trip. At evening, they have arranged for a open truck ride to temple. The entire ride was filled with fun and never miss this one. The scenic view from the Temple is breath-taking. They arrange Campfire at night. We could also spot Bison crossing the Estate and we got chance to see Bison within few feet from the Gazebo. Host clearly warns about the safety instructions to be followed in the place for safe trip. We got to taste Jackfruit from their other farm. Totally we had an amazing trip to rejoice. Food: ------- They offer home-made perfectly cooked food. Staffs are courteous and made sure we had a scrumptious meal throughout our stay. They offered a full course meal and made our stay at resort more enjoyable. Rooms: --------- Rooms were spacious and clean. They had comfortable bed with many wooden easy chairs around. That was a really great experience to relax in the wooden rocking chair with birds chirping around. Most of the phone services doesn't have signal here. You may get feeble signal if you are using BSNL. The estate have two streams in it. When we visited this place it was dry due to poor rainfall. If you are fortunate to visit the place when streams are flowing then this place would be a heaven. If you have a short span of vacation and searching for a quick get away to stay close with Nature, then add this place to your bucket list. Will surely come back again. Thank you Mr. Soundara Pandian for making this trip memorable one for our family.

A resort that made me joyfully reminisce of Enid Blyton story books! A memorable vacation well spent in a unique resort nestled in the beautiful wilderness of Kodai hills. Fruits N Beans Mountain Resort. fruitsnbeans Mountain Resort As the name suggests, the scenic resort is dotted with fruit orchards and coffee plantations, teeming with diverse flora and fauna. Apart from being treated to a captivating orchestra of bird songs and animal calls, we happened to also sight some of the interesting fauna native to the woods there. Enormous yet dainty butterflies in vivid blues and greens, exotic (for a city-dweller) variety of birds and of course wild animal sightings too. The crowning moment for me was coming face to face with a bison. Majestic and stunning, it filled me with a sense of awe rather than fear. Before the fear could set in, the beast broke eye contact and sauntered off into the depths of the forest. And to think I had earlier wondered lightly about the "Bison Crossing" sign. Wildlife encounters and experiences apart, we found the resort steeped in warmth and simplicity yet elegant and exquisite in ambiance. The rooms were spacious and aesthetically done with a rustic charm. The food was lip-smacking delicious and amazing enough to tantalize the taste buds with an appealing and intriguing spread that was a blend of local cuisine and continental flavours. Was pleasantly surprised to find small shelves of eclectic book collections strategically placed here and there creating reading nooks and corners. Something noteworthy for a bookworm like me. The nature hike was rejuvenating and a beguiling indulgence for the senses as the trail took us on a meandering path through the lush greenery marked by orchards of oranges and coffee blooms and more. We even crossed a macadamia nut tree and that made me instinctively look around for Kako (The notorious crow from my story books, in case you are wondering ;-)). Overall it was a delightful experience that we plan to return to, for a long weekend. :-)

We were at this resort for a weekend family get-together. Everything about the place was good. Tucked away in the midst of a plantation away from the crowds. Rooms were basic but well done with a rustic theme. Our mobile network had no connectivity there and no tv in the room either. That was a blessing as we were a family of 11 looking to spend memorable time together. The staff were polite. Food was tasty. Though not a very fancy menu, we were served full course home food complete with dessert. They were accommodative of our requests since we had children and infants in the group. The whole experience was made better by the host Mr Soundrapandian. He was very hospitable and ensured that his guests are comfortable and safe during the stay. He took us for a plantation walk in the morning and explained about exotic fruit bearing trees there. Overall the stay was very memorable.

Visited with family and it was a totally private getaway for three nights. Food was awesome and the rooms designed to blend with the natural ambience. We enjoyed the estate so very much that we even skipped the siteseeing ride. Though it was a family vacation, picked up a few management lessons on professionalism, courtesy and customer focus from Mr. Sondra Pandian the host. Would definitely visit again.

I visited along with my friends of about 14 members during the month of March. Its a pleasant and calm resort. They took us for plantation walk and a jeep trip to a valley, and both were nice. Rooms comes with basic amneties and food is typical south. They have a billiards table. You wiill really enjoy the hospitality of the staff members and the language command of the propery owner, Mr.Soundirapandiyan.
