Need to control access of outsiders
by suren747 on July 15, 2017
We visited Bhatia villas last weekend. A friend of mine had suggested us this property as he had been there with his family before too. It is located at about 2 kms from Panchgani market. Let me start with all the good points first The villas are maintained beautifully with all the basic amenities available at hand readily. Each villa has a spacious living room, fully equipped Kitchen and 3 self contained bedrooms. All rooms are clean and do not stink at all due to the rainy conditions. A small porch on the entrance and a tidy little terrace adds up to the villas positives too. There's a provision to park a single car beside the villa and if you come here with additional cars, they can be parked on the entrance too. We can hire people to cook food who charge 700 for a single meal apart from the raw material required. There's provision for Bon fire and barbecue too. Orelse food can be ordered from a near by restaurant whose menu is available with the caretakers. Now let me start with the negatives. To start with the caretakers give free access to outsiders inside the premises. The guys selling foot wares, bangles, ice creams, etc. Guys showing magic shows, massage therapists. These guys go around the villas continuously and peep inside to attract attention of visitors, trying to sell their stuff. Let me get this straight, we come there not to shop but to spend some quality time with our families and friends. Unwanted hawkers simply are a nuisance and affect the much needed privacy too. As I have mentioned earlier that there's provision for barbecue, but when we enquired about the same. We were told that they would provide only the grill and rest everything right from getting the chicken, preparing the masala and marinating has to be done by us. This was a major turn down. The caretakers too need to be considerate when entering individual villas specially at night. We had one of them who barged in at 10.30 pm just to remove extra blankets from our villa to meet the needs of a family staying in our next villa. If all these things are taken care of. The place is good one for families and friends alike. Hope to see the changes soon.

We stayed (20 of us) at this property this weekend. We had taken two of the bungalows. The entire process from booking to being was handled so well by Ashish Bhatia and his team, I told him I would recommend this place to all those that are visiting Pachgani. Very nice, clean property with a nice surrounding. View can be good from the second floor rooms. Great thing was everything worked. They can arrange for cooks to cook some simple but delicious veg/non-veg food for you. Things are reasonably priced. Have arrangements for the drivers also.

What a gem!!! Its a fantastic property, in the heart of Panchgani but away from the crowd. It has 5 villas each containing ,3 bedrooms, a kitchen and 2 living rooms comfortably accomodating 8 - 10 people. You can pre book a cook, barbeque and bon fire facilities. We made full use of all these facilities. Highly recommended for all age groups, families with children, friend groups... thanks and regds Milma

we checked in with a group of 40 guests and we booked all the 5 villas from last friday to sunday, its really calm and cool there with a valley view from the backyard , there was a small garden there for kids with clean swings and rides , hot water was available 24 x 7 and they also provided housekeeping with the caretaker just living few steps away . a separate section for bonfire was provided inside the garden and on request firewood was also provided .
