  • Not good!

    by Naaraakshashi R on

Hotel entrance is middle of roof drainage pipe discharge, no garden, rest room is dirty, cupboards is stinking, room mats are not cleaned, missing bulbs, very small TV, limited choice for breakfast. Only positive is location and car parking.

  • Good foos

For us townies food offered at places like these are out of this world, by the road, cold breeze and rain. The food is not the typical restaurant food, you basically eat the village food. The taste of every vegetable or dish is so good because it is completely natural and grown in house. Loved it

  • Good for low cost but nothing great

Considering the neighboring location, this hotel is cheap compared to others. But at the same time you need to compromise for the facilities too. We booked the hotel looking at the great garden in front of it. But once we arrived there we found that the garden was not maintained. Grasses have grown out to be trees. However, the room service was good. And there were a number of options to order from the menu since they have their own restaurant. Overall I would say, it was not as per the expectation.

  • Pathetic place

    by Chetan_1972 on

Leaking taps, non functional bulbs, a room infested with insects and an unresponsive and rude staff the property is bang in the road and hence easily accessible. The food was the only decent thing in the whole place

  • A nice hotel for a low budget traveller

    by cassanova78 on

We were a group of 10 people (3 families) traveling from surat. Started looking for hotels around 45 days before our date of travel since it was vacation time. We looked at all the properties and finalized this one as the rooms and bathrooms looked Comparatively clean and big. We booked through mmt app and got the super deluxe rooms for 3700/night/room including breakfast and all taxes. The hotel as said in the title is good for budget travelers. The Super deluxe room (we took on non ac basis) 402, 403 that we got on arrival were big, while 401 was a little smaller but all the upper floor rooms in the new wing had balconies which looked out into the garden n had a mountain view, the property is right opposite Saj resort and has the same view to speak of. The hotel has a small well maintained garden where our kids played Frisbee. They also have two adjoining plots where they grow strawberries but that one can witness only from October to March we were told as that is the season for Berry growing. There is hot water 24/7, bed sheets are changed every two days though the rooms are cleaned every day. extra towels, mattress n pillows are provided on request. The staff was very professional n quick. A special mention for the manager Mr. Srinivas who made sure we were comfortable and all our issues resolved. For example the pot shower in my bathroom was broken, it was repaired immediately on request, hand towel in bathroom was provided immediately on asking for it. He also guided us for the sightseeing part n suggested a small trek to lingmala waterfall upon asking (there was no waterfall as it was summer season but it was a nice trek especially for the kids. make sure you are taking lots of water bottles and your own food as there is nothing available there) . The hotel only provides very small soaps, kindly take your own toiletries. The only grouse that I had was they did not serve a buffet breakfast but the guests got to choose any two things from dosa, uttapam, poha n paratha and a daily dose of tea. Although their food is of good quality and guests were coming to dine at their restaurant from outside as well. Make sure you tell them how you want the preparation to be. I have given it 4 ratings mainly because of the helpful staff. The hotel is not for luxury travelers.
