I stayed at Honeywood Holiday Homes with my parents in the month of May. For the first night the garden facing room was available and then after we shifted in the 2 bedroom villa. The garden facing room has basic amenities. I struggled with my clothes since I needed an iron so I would advise those who need things like hair dryer, iron etc to carry it from home. The entry and exit to these 2 ground floor rooms is through sliding doors which opens out to a garden so its a good choice for those who prefer outdoors since that garden almost feels like a private one with seating arrangements. My mother enjoyed sitting in the garden all day and night so its ideal for older people. The villa is very spacious and I enjoyed the privacy but one would miss the garden ( almost private) that comes with the deluxe room. A family can eat, chat and spend time together feeling at home in the villa. We stayed at one of the ground floor villa though there are few on the first floor with a balcony. The best view room must be the forest facing chalet though we dint get a chance to see it from inside. No other rooms have a view of anything outside the premises as far as I know. There is a common lawn / garden area once you enter the premises which is where one can sit and eat meals. For those with pets or who like pets , this is a great place to play with cats around. One might feel the menu is limited but the food is prepared as per order ( hence the need to pre-decide the order) and few dishes like the chicken chilli, manchow soup were very tasty so one wouldnt mind repeating the order. The food is not oily. I think one staff member is dedicated to a certain client and he takes care with all that you need. Deepak who took care of us was very polite and always smiling. Honeywood is in between a forest like area hence its all green inside and around. The location of this place is off the main road and in a narrow road ( two cars could barely pass each other) inside hence those who like it quiet and peaceful will enjoy the stay here. Arrangement for driver stay and meals is made on request at an additional cost but I would advise informing them in advance. They take full payment to take a booking and the final settlement of food etc is done during check out. Card payment option wasnt there during check out. The owners will be in touch with you once you make an inquiry hence all queries and doubts can be cleared before and after booking the place.

Two things which we like 1) It is Pet friendly resort, you can take your pets along. 2) Location, such a beautiful location, calm and quiet, one can surely visit if you just want to relax in pure "SHANTI"!!!

After checking lot of reviews I finally booked this for 2 days. The location is bit remote from the main market and better to travel with your own vehicle if you want to stay here. But the stay was perfectly what I was looking for, it was very peaceful especially in the morning as you can just wake up early, relax and listen to birds sounds. We took forest view room, it was clean and well maintained but bit small. Food was ok bit oily in the start but later we asked them to prepare as per our need and it was taken care. Staff was helpful and overall we enjoyed the stay.

Whenever i think of Mahableshwar, my first preference is to stay at Honeywood Holiday Homes, this was my 3rd stay at honeywood. The place is 2-3km away from main city and in peace of woods, even in long weekends time one can go there and can spend quality time with family. I Always prefer to book duplex rooms if travelling with big family, it will give you extra comfort feeling with common dining room. Rooms are always clean and equipped with basic all amenties that a holiday homes should offer. In night you can request for separte small bonfire set up and enjoy the time in open garden with low temperature nights of Mahableshwar. Small play area offers you table tennis, Badmintom, carrom etc in case one needs to get fresh with that. Food options are limited as compared to hotels though u get fresh food on timely order and it rates high on taste buds. Owners are very helpful, keep you updating in case of any issue in local environment of mahableshwar, our time due to high traffic of long weekend there is lot of one way diversion made, we get all updates from owners on same. Overall a very nice place to stay with your family if looking out a peaceful break from your hectic schedule.

This property is on the old mahabaleshwar road. Bit far from the main market and in a very quite lonely location surrounded by forest and dense tree. The rooms were nice and clean. Enjoyed the candle light dinner in the garden during the night. Since we visited here in the month of December, it was quite cool because of its location as it surrounded by tree and forest. Food was freshly prepared at the night and got the feeling of home cooked food. Enjoyed our stay here.
