Shrikrishna Bhuvan is having best food quality compared to all other hotels in Mahabaleshwar. Its heaven for those who like Maharashtrian food! Coming to its location: it is strategically located on Medha road which is only 0.5 km from Market. The hotel has Deluxe, Super Deluxe & Executive rooms with very attractive tariffs which include 2 meals & 2 breakfasts. During the stay of 3 days, you shall experience all maharashtrian variety food in lunch & dinner. To my surprise, they never repeat the menu in at least 3 days. The deluxe rooms seems on low maintenance although are alright for a vacation stay at a hill station. At the center there is Shrirama Temple and its holy experience during the daily Arati procession Overall its best hotel + food option which is nearby to Market area.

The best thing I liked about this resort is the spacious area within the resort, delicious Maharashtrian food and a temple of Shree Ram within the premise. And all this, at an economical package This resort has multiple small individual cottage type rooms of different types based upon the amenities that one needs As highlighted, this resort has a small garden with usual rides for kids. It also has a TT table and a carrom. It has individual cottage type rooms which provide the privacy that one needs. They serve authentic Maharshtrian veg food which can be considered an USP of this resort for people who love this kind of food. They dont have a buffet system but they serve unlimited quantity of various dishes which are more than enough for anyone's appetite. The other great thing is that it has a Ram Mandir within the resort which is a great experience in itself, for people who like it. The only issue, if at all, is that this resort does not serve non-veg food. Hence, if you are die-hard non-veg fans, this is not the place for you. Otherwise, I think its a very beautiful place to stay with family.

Stayed here for three nights along with family & relatives. Had booked 4 rooms and were allotted adjacent rooms. Hotel campus is very vast & is full of greenery. Had stayed here long back in 1981. Everything appeared to be changed here now as regards infrastructure. Approach & attitude of staff was same. We stayed in basic rooms but were spacious. Suitable for comfortable stay for 3 persons. Sitting area outside room is very good. Bed mattresses were good providing quality sleep. Towels were clean. Housekeeping was good. Hotel plan includes all meals. Hot water available at morning only. Two dedicated staff were assigned to our area providing excellent service. Please beware of monkeys as they enter the room looking out for edibles. Meals were Maharashtrian, served in dining hall at fixed timing. Only vegetarian meals served here. Food was ok with variety. Morning & noon tea served in room. Breakfast does not have any choice as the fixed item is served as decided by the Hotel. Item not bad. The Hotel has a vast parking area & one can park car near his room. Hotel has a kids play area. Car washing is available. No liquor served in Hotel and is advisable to carry own stock. Even carry your own glass else be ready to drink in steel glass. Many vendors selling Chappals, strawberries etc visit Hotel and one can buy these right at your room. Main Mahabaleshwar market is 5 minutes away and is a good time pass. Buy fresh chocolate or strawberry fuzz from Wilson store in market. One should not miss out strawberry with fresh cream or ice cream. Hotel person Mr Chandrakant arranges transport for moving around in Mahabaleshwar. During season it is advisable to visit all points by hired vehicle due to traffic congestion. At present roads leading to all points including old Mahabaleshwar are in very bad condition. Check in & check out wash very fast. This hotel is suitable for large groups with families.

Girivihar is just the right choice to stay in mahabaleshwar with its positive aura and the beautifully polite staff and good spacious rooms. The temple in the centre is amazing where the aarti in the evening is nice as they also move dhoop in the rooms this is purely veg and has tariff inclusive of meals. If you are lucky you may see the giant squirrel there. A small tip: prefer to take rooms near the temple
