What's Good: Beautiful property, nice facilities

What needs to improve : Two things - 1. Food - Huge scope of improvement. Need to get a top chef there as the prices are 5-star but the food does not live up the standard.

  • Mesmerizing property - Amazing experience

    by Keval K on

Probably the finest hotel in Mahabaleshwar with a great jungle themed resort. Extremely comfortable room, great restaurant and not to miss the infinity pool. The pool can get crowded in certain hours and seasons, given that it's a small one but fortunately there were not much guests in the time of monsoon. The view is unforgettable. The restaurants are awesome with some quality service. Mr. Sarkar the restaurant manager was co-operative and understood our tastes brilliantly. The staff is polite and supportive. If you looking out for an amazing but luxury experience in Mahabaleshwar - Le Meridien is the place to be!

  • Always Delightful!

    by Anjanaa S on

Have already been thrice this year and cant wait to go back :) LM Mahabaleshwar is an amazing escape from the usual hustle and bustle of the city life. Located amidst a forest it has beautiful villas spread across the property. The Spa is amazing and always leaves me so relaxed and rejuvenated. They have a lot of activities to offer including treks, yoga and one can swim in their beautiful infinity pool that overlooks the valley. I was also greeted with a delicious Welcome Back cake that was very special. Would definitely recommend for that perfect weekend getaway. Tip: Go for the valley view rooms.

  • Awesome Experience

Its one of my best experiences of stay and so happy to review it... 1.Checkin - Deepak from front desk was a through professional and help me in all ways to give us our room..The buggy guy explained us about services in brief during moving us from reception to our villa. 2. Breakfast was good at their all day dining.. Saurav was helpful during our meal period. The quality of coffee was not up to the quality. The readymade coffee as well as the machine coffee. 3. The housekeeping team made a beautiful towel art for my family and my kid was very happy with the gesture... Thank you Lalit and Salkho for the amazing towel art. See the picture. 4 Room service team gesture of best wishes on cakes was good. Last but not the least , Akshay Angre from the front office team made sure that my stay was memorable and it would have not being possible without him. Thank you the entire team of LMM for making a memorable stay for my family.. Regards Tarun Samvedi Virar Mumbai

  • Amazing property in Mahabaleshwar

    by SerendipityIndia on

We stayed at Le Meridien Mahabaleshwar on a cash and points basis for 2 nights in August when the weather in Mahableshwar is really nice - not too rainy, pleasantly cold & misty and the greenery is just bustling. It was a great experience altogether - we really loved the property and except for two day tours of 2 hrs each, we ended up spending all of our time in Mahabaleshwar at Le Meridien. I am a SPG Platinum member and we experienced great hospitality - right from early checkin at around 9 AM to getting upgraded to a suite, free breakfast and the other amenities. Tranquility suite was quite nice, spacious with an outdoor shower - though to be frank it did not seem like a suite but just a large room, since there was no separate living area which suites are known for. None the less a pretty room with modern amenities. The resort itself is quite huge and it takes quite a while to get used to, the directions etc. There are lot of things to keep oneself occupied - we spent time in the heated rooftop pool, played housie and saw a magic show, went to the kids area for some kiddie fun and explored the property and clicked some amazing pictures. The breakfast offering is quite good with an extensive choice of Indian and continental options. We tried dinner once in the hotel, but that's quite expensive given its a Cat 5 SPG hotel. Overall, a great hotel and one of the best places to stay in Mahabaleshwar.

  • Numero Uno @ Mahabaleshwar

    by HebbarSrinivas on

Much needed touch of class at Mahabaleshwar. The older hotels were looking jaded, in serious need of renovation, and Le Meridian steps up to awe you in all it's grandeur. Amazing property, with lots to do for all ages. The breakfast & dinner spreads were excellent. The housie games at the lounge bar is conducted to perfection, and the prizes are just the right touch Special mention to all the staff, right from the front office, all restaurants & lounges to the ones who do the hard work of keeping the property clean & tidy. This was my second visit and hopefully more to come....

  • Ask for a room near the pool area as that's where majority activities are
