The resort is situated at a very good location.A really misty and foggy track leads to the resort which gives it a very good feel overall. The food is also good and also staff is very helpful. Enjoyed staying here.

I had been in Mahabaleshwar recently with my husband and we had our stay in Misty woods resort there. The location of the resort is just superb!!!! you really feel the presence of nature here. The resort has change their management recently and offered wonderful services. I like the coffee shop with the pool view, it is so peaceful and cool. The car rental service provided by resort made all the other visiting places quickly accessible. we had 3 day stay there and enjoyed a lot and would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

I would have never gone to this place if I had red these reviews...but I did not find anything like this...It was a descent outing for me and enjoyed my stay at misty wood...they have pick up nd drop facilities at no cost...also management was generous, good food, so many indoor and outdoor were available...and I enjoyed my stay at misty woods....

Please avoid this place ... even if the rooms are free :). Just not worth it. The rooms are dirty. The walls have paint falling off of them. The restaurant is terrible. The have a pool but I wouldn't venture into it.

We decided to book a trip to Mahabaleshwar, last December. Through a shady holiday agent, we got a "lucky" break to stay here. So we packed our kids, and set out on our vacation. Well we were told that this hotel is in Mahabaleshwar, but it was actually a good 13 Kms away. The route in the dark, is extremely scary. No one, not even a stray dog was visible enroute. I had tried to find out about this hotel, but couldnt find much information in the net. The rooms were damp, and depressing. The walls all cracking. Paint was worn out with blotches and patches every where. The staff was 2 guys, who couldnt speak well or even couldnt cook! Someone made chapatis and a Vaangi sabji in a hurry, and gave it to us. The TV was sad, and it had only one channel, which was connected to a single set top box in the entire area, and was at the mercy of the receptionist,s mood. Whatever he wished, we saw... The only good thing about this hotel is its location. It is indeed a very beautiful sight. At the edge of a plateau, surrounded by greenery, the entire location is breath taking... Apart from that, I wouldnt recommend it for families with kids... Probably is ok for bachelors, or old men who want to spend an extra quiet night...
