What's Good: There is no power backup for a/c tents. There was a power cut in the afternoon and hence the heat was unbearable.

What's Good: Hi All, Its a great pleasure to share my experience recently with TGL resort & spa. The best thing about this hotel is FOOD, the food is just finger licking good. There is variety in every dishes..not so spicy not so oily just perfect! Next best thing is the Room service, people are always smiling and helpful. Another cherry on the cake is the ANCIENT SPA/ Ayurthai.. cool pleasant climate, great food, great location added with this spa experience just makes you feel heavenly. Ayurthai is the best spa to relax your senses and destress yourself from daily routine and hustle bustle. Me and my husband are planning to give another visit to this hotel really soon. :-) Regards, Preeti & Mandar

What's Good: The amenities should be absolutely free, like the snooker was being charged at Rs 100/- for half an hour which is very high. Also the SPA is very expensive.

    Very Good!

    by KISHOR K G on Sep 25,2014

What's Good: the stay at the hotel was excellent. the couple jacuizzy is simply great. however, the food was terrible. we had only one meal ( on arrival ) and that was enough to know the type and quality of food. fortunately, we had booked on "room only" basis and could get what we wanted elsewhere. a great hotel for "room only" type of stay.

  • A long weekend trip to a beautiful landscape

    by Shashank_Sunny on March 12, 2018

Hi, At first, I would like to say the this place has amazing view from their lawn and also from their Restaurant and pool area. It was everything that was thought of. Positives 1. Food Quality 2. View 3. Courteous staff 4. Good board games to keep one engaged during the day also Negatives 1. Its very much possible that you may miss the turning to this hotel. The Board is there on the right side of the road, when it should be on the left side. Coming from Mapro towards Mahabaleswar, around 4 kms from Mapro, then a slight climb of 100-200mtr to the hotel. A proper board on the right side of the road will help a lot of people

  • Short Vacation Trip

    by Srichand J on March 12, 2018

Fabulous and fantastic!! it was a great experience at Grand Legacy for me and my family (myself, wife and 2 kids). We planned this short trip in March to Mahabaleshwar and chose this place on recommendation from my cousin. We really enjoyed our stay here. Facility: The resort is a little hidden so we had some difficulty finding out. I would request the management to have some (more) signboards from road for easy navigations. We eventually found our way in a narrow lane adjacent to Saj resort. Apart from that, the resort has some beautiful views of the valley and is fully equipped with all facilities (swimming pool, games room (my kids enjoyed the snooker/pool table most and outdoor badminton on its lush green lawns) Room: We picked up Aqua suite for the family with private pool and it was a great experience. There were 2 adjacent rooms in our suite and both were very nice and tastefully furnished with a Jacuzzi in one of the bathrooms and swimming pool outside again neat and well maintained. we had a initial hiccup with some disturbance near our room at the swimming pool area but the hotel staff was very accommodative in immediately changing our suite to adjacent one. The private pool and Jacuzzi, unforgettable experiences. Food: Delighted! it was a pure vegetarian but a foodie's delight, their buffet had amazing spreads (both breakfast and dinner) we were pleasantly surprised with their variety. Each day would have a different theme from Indian to continental to a on table serving of best of chat. overall, an amazing food experience. Tip: Do include meal plans in your room bookings Overall: Go for it once, you may fall in love with the place and food more than you would love Mahabaleshwar itself :)

  • Heaven on Earth at Mahabaleshwar.

    by Nagesh R on March 7, 2018

Hidden from the hustle & bustle of the crowds is The Grand Legacy Resorts - Real Heaven on Earth in Mahabaleshwar. They have a wide variety of rooms & cottages to choose from based on the taste & size of your family. There are cottages, tent rooms and suites apart from rooms. In addition to a common swimming pool and Jacuzzi there are Aqua Suites which has a private swimming pool attached to the Suites. There is a Maharaja Suite & a Maharani Suite & also a large cottage with three bedrooms with attached bathrooms and a living room with all amenities. The interiors and exteriors of all the rooms are full of decor & ambience. The large restaurant caters only Vegetarian delicacies which are really tasty and all food is a part of the holiday package. There are lot of open spaces with well maintained artificial green lawns for the children to play including indoor games & activities to enjoy the holiday. Every evening they also organise some events for the children & elders like magic shows, etc. There is ample space for the elders to enjoy a relaxed meditation or read books amidst the serene natural surroundings. On a moonlit night or a cool summer morning or evening you get a heavenly feel amidst the surrounding mountain range & smooth breeze. There is also a nice spa where you can really relax & rejuvenate your mind & body. Really a much deserved out of the world holiday for the whole family.

  • Awesome weekend getaway.

by foromkar on March 5, 2018

Enjoyed the stay. Food was good. Awesome experience would like to stay at this place again for sure. Would recommed my friends. The location is good. Need a sign board on the main road which leads to ur hotel as it is a bit confusing.

  • Jacuzzi was superb. Clean rooms. Just one very imp suggestion. For emergency situation a doctor should be present in the hotel after 6.
