We stayed two nights from 3rd to 5th Nov...and it was average stay...location is good...but resort is not upto expectation of four star category...needs to improve in service alot...Rooms were spacious but bathrooms needs upgrade...Water in bathroom was not clean...toiletry was not good quality...food was not good...briefed hotel staff at the time of checkout about all these ...hope they improve in future...

We visited Mahabalipuram in Oct 2017.Stayed for a night at Chariot Beach Resort. The hotel has a vast area of 45 acres with its own private beach. Amenities vise its very good. Big swimming pool. You can try your hands at pottery also. Only a couple of things they need to improve on like check-in procedure and breakfast. I was surprised that they didn't have my reservation through Cleartrip in their system. I then had to send the email to them explicitly. Didn't even offer welcome drink and didn't even give wifi password at time of check-in. Phone was also not working in the room. If they can improve on these things it's a wonderful place to stay in Mahabalipuram.

The property is good. Next to the beach with a huge pool. Liked the food which is also quite reasonable pricewise. The staff have the intention and attitude to serve. However what is lacking is some direction on how to provide service and the order in which service in restaurants should be provided. Often found the staff struggling to provide a consistent service experience perhaps due to lack of knowledge. At times the staff did not know that they had to provide plates, water, cutlery when guest is seated. Main course was served before starters etc etc. Time taken to serve food also varied big time. Again there was no attitude issue with the staff. It only seemed that they did not know what needs to be done.
Peacefullll stay.... And friendly staff....

Recently we stayed in the hotel.. The checkin is prompt and quick... Food quality and taste is good... Staff at is very good and friendly but they need bit training.. Mr.Suresh in front desk he soo helpful. Nice place to stay at weekend with family....
Calm hotel , spacious rooms

This hotel is located little away from town , it's a calm place , check in was quick, staffs were friendly explaining about the property, rooms were spacious and comfortable, food can be improved, overall a good stay..
