What's Good: Excellent property. Beach a bit overcrowded, not a private beach. While the rooms and the property especially the pool were excellent, the hotel staff & service has a lot to be worried about. The Room Service is exceptionally slow, they took 2 hours to serve a drink and over an hour to serve food (inspite of a 35 min commitment over phone by the room service staff) The spa services were pathetic. I had booked a therapy only to be told at the time of my appointment that a therapist was not available. On making noises and speaking to the On-duty manager, I was given a rushed treatment, which was way below a treatment expected from a spa in a Radisson property. Further at the time of check-in, I was given a coupon by the staff for a 15% spa discount, which the spa person said is not applicable at that Spa (apparently I had to go to the other spa in the property) Overall, good property but the trip could have been better if we got better service

What's Good: check in check out time should be consumer friendly.

What's Good: Staff are pathetic. They don't have even the basic courtesy to speak politely. The resort is having long walking Distances to reach rooms. Hotel provided buggies to transport customers. The drivers of buggies are a shame To hotel.

Not only the gorgeous accommodations, or the meandering pool just outside our private front porch (delightful at night to explore), or the huge and tasty breakfast buffet, or the gorgeous tropical gardens and paths to explore...but the BLU has another pool overlooking Temple Bay. Our first exploration was on the beach, walkable to the Famous Shore Temple above, very photogenic. Some kind vendors had me buying gifts before returning to the hotel. Walkable to town, but the roads are busy with auto rickshaws, recommended to get to the UNESCO site safely.

I stayed at Radisson Blu Temple Bay in December 2018 with my wife and 11 year old son. We stayed in a deluxe sea view chalet and our stay for 3 nights are simply superb. The entire resort is very well maintained and the view of the ocean from our room was just awesome. The beach adjoining the resort is also quite clean. Housekeeping in the rooms was also up to the mark. We had all our meals at the resort and the food was quite good although service is a bit slow. The breakfast also had quite a decent spread. The dosas and filter coffee were amazing. The resort has a number of activities especially for kids such as cycling, ATV bike rides which are chargeable and others such as indoor games and board games along with an activity room for kids which are complimentary. There is a complimentary tea session in the evening along with snacks which was quite good as well. Overall an awesome place, especially very kid friendly. Would return someday with family and friends. Thanks Radisson for the wonderful memories !!!

Visited the resort for lunch with friends. We wanted to sit in the open and enjoy a beer and some lunch. But we werent allowed to do so. Whatever area we chose to sat we were asked to vacate. This happened twice after which we asked to see the manager but the bar staff told us he wasnt available. Poor show for a 5 star of its repute. Utterly dissappointed!

My friend and I travelled on an organised tour of southern India in December,. For this 2-night stay, we booked two single rooms with sea view. The rooms were adjacent but the "sea view" was a brick wall topped with razor wire. For the second night, the hotel moved me to one room near these, which was dirty and run down but did have a sea view. My friend was moved further away to a better room but the "sea view" required binoculars. Food and service also pretty poor. Overall, the worst hotel of the 9 we stayed in during the tour.

What can I say? We were totally looked after from the moment we checked in. I could go into details, but this is not necessary as the hotel has thought of them already. Lovely big rooms close to the beach, nice food, amenities and high tea at 5pm was a hit. Staff are wonderful and friendly with staff to customer ratio almost 1:1. It's a good bet if you like to be overwhelmed with attention. Breakfast was particularly good, so don't miss this. I don't understand why everyone didn't go for fresh dosas and idlis washed down with 'made-to-order' coffee? Definitely go for Indian breakfast or you may be disappointed. We will be back. Fantastic value for money.
