The hotel has a rather weird electrical system - when the electricity goes ( and it goes often enough in a day) and comes back.. the room gets power only after the room key card is taken out of its card slot for 40 seconds and then put back. This process means that at night, every time the light goes off and comes back you need to 1st figure out if the electricity is back - then get out of bed - play the 40 second game - and then repeat it during the night! Rather complicated and weird to say the least. The hotel has an inverter that lights up the corridor.. but not in the room where even during the day the loo is pitch dark. If you plan to spend a summer night at hotel, be prepared to keep awake.. The loo in the hotel lobby has a light sensor that thoughtfully and ever so diligently illuminates the otherwise pitch dark loo as soon as someone steps in. However in case your bladder is full and you remain motionless while you relieve yourself, the super intelligent sensor switches off the light in 15 seconds .. In case relieving yourself in complete darkness is not what you are generally used to, do shake an arm or a leg to alert the sensor of your presence. Apart from the electrical technology guffaws the hotel is comfortable, the rooms large and well furnished, food is good, the bell boys are earnest.. overall excellent value for money. I do recommend the hotel to you'll.. just be prepared for the electrical technology over reach.

Worst hotel staff. Food was horrible. Just a hotel with view. There were mosquito all over the rooons and dining. Not worth money. Hotel staff's attitude towards visitors were terrible. We booked this hotel 2 months advanced give all details still the service and staff were terrible.

We booked this place per our tour advisor and the hotel was good. Food was good, staff are hospitable and ambience is also good. Manali had a lot of traffic issues and we had a hard time travelling from the hotel to other side of manali to have fun on pubbing and more. After you cross the market there are many nice hotels you can pick and go for partying late night without worrying about travel issues to hotel. So think before you book the place if you are looking for fun and not silence.
