  • Good price and great view

We liked the location for the quiet of the old town and nearby walks. The room was basic but had hot water and a comfortable bed - don't need much more! A lovely view and cool restaurant terrace topped it off. Would stay again.

  • Very friendly, very cheap, great for backpackers,

    by jay7son2000 on

top floor has amazing views but cheaper to stay on lower floors in 2017 was about equivalent to 5 - 6 a night with deal for 4 or 5 days. Boss is friendly, one night he got up and took one of the guests to hospital because he was ill for no extra charge. He has a lad that works there looking after everyone when he isn't around that is a cool guy too, his catch phrase is "full power" . I think the only people moaning on here are native indian locals, all the backpackers there loved it. I went away and did the kulga pulga trek for a week but then returned as it was so friendly there.

  • Very Bad Experience - F#ck Room Services

    by GouravGupta162 on

Too much bad, I can't explain every single issue.. as they offer free WiFi but password never provided, water bottle in rooms - never served, soap for after washroom not available, wait almost 2 hours and 1 argument done with staff then they provide, In lunch they, I ordered a Pratha but they not provided curd and pickle as they mentioned when I said they provided expired/bad curd, which having too much bad smell. I will never recommend this place at any cost or free of cost. even bed-sheets not good. Staff behavior very bad.

  • Low on pocket

Being a mountain lover old manali is one of my favourite place & i have been visiting this place every year from quite a long time. Being a solo traveller i am always on a budgeted trip so either i used to prefer hostels or dorms but then somebody recommended me this place. Currently this place is run by two brothers Dinu thakur & Prem thakur & is on the Manu temple road, Old manali. The connectivity to the hotel is good and is easily approachable. It's opposite to Govt. School on Manu temple road. You have to hike a bit for the hotel, trust me the final stairs to the hotel will test your strength. They are always low on staff, there is guys named Hemant he looks after the restaurant and room service as well. He is the only one you can contact n meet in the guest house. Rooms are clean & okay, not too good not too bad with no view. But they have duplex rooms on the top floor which has a magical view. You can see waterfalls & moutains covered with snow with good & spacious rooms. Food @ the cafe is really bad, though i am a regular visitor but there restaurants sucks. The chef doesn't even know how ti make Maggi & English breakfast properly. P.S - My review is based on my personal choice

  • Surprisingly reasonable pricing

    by Sindhura Y on

One of the most popular guest houses in Old Manali. Very easy to find, since every auto driver knows where it is. The prices are reasonable. Free WiFi is available and the rooms are clean and well maintained. The entire surroundings of this guest house are pleasant and feel-good. A great place to stay in Manali :)
