The location of hotel is excellent but the rooms are normal three stars hotel category. The worst part is toilet/bathroom, which STINKING very badly. Management is only charging for their location. If you check online prices, you can get better deals than direct booking. Furthermore, front desk staff is very humble & friendly specially Mr Rupender Singh & Ms Yozna. Food is also delicious. Two stars only for staff good behaviour & location.
Luxury amidst nature

We travelled with a couple of friends to Solang Valley resort in Sept and our stay was phenomenal. Everything from the time we booked to the time we reached back to Delhi was well taken care of. Ms. Anita got us swiftly through the booking process and offered us a great deal on the stay. She also went out of the way to suggest a very good driver, who took good care of us through the trip. The hotel staff was also very caring and took good care of our needs, special thanks to Mr. Nilesh (hotel manager). To mention the least, the staff had good sanitary habits and practiced all required sanitization drills to keep us safe in corona times. We preferred to stay at this property coz its placed between nature so well that your can thoroughly enjoy the mountains and river from within. Its a must stay for nature lovers. The gardens are also well curated and taken care off, the apple trees looked beautiful with laden fruits. It was overall an exceptional stay.

In these stressful times, escape from the four walls had become incumbent. The minute our flight touched the ground at the Bhuntar airport, a wave of refreshing energy surged within us! 6 months of four walls and now the unspoilt nature resplendent in all its glory!! We checked in at Solang Valley Resorts, in deluxe glacier rooms. We have been here a few years ago but today----- it was bliss! Cannot even express the joy of seeing the verdant lawns, the glacier, the mountains once again. And lo! The apple laden trees were a sight for sore eyes! A mention about the sanitisation process in place------ full proof! All staff masked, gloved, temperature checks ,use of sanitizer were all in place. There was minimal contact with front desk staff as they had already taken our identity cards through watsapp . Luggage was sanitized and sent to our rooms. Our rooms were neat, clean, comfortable and nicely done. After freshening up, we were off to the lawns for that was what was needed after months of captivity! We plucked some luscious apples and had the time of our lives. Breakfasts, dinners at the restaurant were occasions in themselves. Before we sat, chairs and tables were sprayed in front of us. Waiters were maintaing social distancing properly. Food was yummilicious!! We tried to stay at the Resort most of the time, in view of the pandemic, though on a Sunday we did go to Martin's for lunch. Basically there was so much to do at the Resort itself- activity room, the river, folk dance organised by the Resort! We had booked for three days but ended staying five days---- hospitality and ambience of the Resort is unbeatable! Coming back is not only a pleasure, it might soon become an addiction!
Best places to stay near Manali

Me and my husband got married right before lockdown and so this was our first visit out of city. We booked this beautiful resort and were totally amazed by their hospitality. Mr Nielesh and Ms Anita took care of us while we stayed there from 11th September to 16th September. The entire staff was friendly, and supportive. They also upgraded us to the presidential suite :) and decorated the room with roses .. The view of the glacier was breathtaking and peaceful. At night, the sky was so clear that we could see the milky way galaxy and my husband took such a beautiful shot of that( attached).. The food was really delicious and fresh and had a variety to choose from.. Since i couldn't eat gluten, they made sure that gluten free breads were available for me They surprised us with organic, property grown apples as a gift

We visited this excellent property from 11 to 18th feb 2020. This property has the best view of glacier from rooms.i think the best view of any himachal hotels.last year I visited wildflower hall of oberoi in shimla, but trust me view is best of this resorts. All the staff was excellent and they never say no for anything. This resorts managment hospitality is very near to Taj group. I really thanks to Anita mam,who gave us the best package and will always ready to help anytime.i call her so many times before booking but she always respond very politely. I love to mention some name, without them our trip was incomplete.Mr.Rupinder front office manager, Mr.sharma and Mr.Thakur in restuarant who serve you the best breakfast n lunch n dinner as per your choice with a very smiley face feels like home. If you really want to see the real Manali pls go to this property only.they dont have the Taj or Oberoi tag,but trust me it's not less than that at all. Thanks to all members of solang valley resort who makes my trip a memorable one. Rajesh dhruv.
