Reason For Rating : The stay was not so good. Rooms were clean (but lizard infested!) but had some complaints with the bathroom. No hot water. The Restuarant service was pathetic. Only the service boy was a bit responsive towards the guests. Food was great. However even the complimentary water bottles to the guests were not provided to the rooms for which we were charged 3k per night!

Reason For Rating : Hotel is near sea beach. That's is good. Seating option is good other than hotel near beach. A/C dulex room is not good. Cold water not provide. After oder three time they provide drinking water after 30minut later. Early morning hotel staff stop AC power supply, That's not good.

We had selected this hotel based on the good reviews done on tripadvisor. We were not disappointed. The hotel offers a peaceful stay in Mandarmani. It has a large parking area which can accommodate 10+ cars. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The front desk was very helpful and the check in was done in a jiffy. They assigned one attendant to our room who took care of all our requests till the time we checked out. This attendant's mobile was shared so anything we needed was a call away. This was a helpful feature. The service is also prompt.The hotel has a sea facing sitting / lounge area. Its a great place to lazily sit and spend your time. The food quality was good but its pricey even within mandarmani standards. You would get cheaper eating options around Mandarmani bus stop area. Overall our stay was peaceful and nice.

Worst place to stay in Mandarmani.On 27 th of July we had a family trip to Mandarmani .It was unfortunate that we booked Candlewood Resort .We were 10 people and we booked 1 month well in advance 5 rooms.When we reached there firstly when I entered their reception area I was like irritated. Some old dilapidated broken sofas where lying the whole place was filthy and dirty.Now when they gave the rooms we were like "what the hell".Two rooms where the ones we booked,but three rooms that they gave were totally filthy moreover a rotten damp smell was coming which was the worst part of it.We told them to change our rooms and these were not the rooms we booked for.They said bcoz we have booked from MMT we should talk to them they are not responsible they didnot get the money .Those filthy rooms were 2900 priced.They insulted us misbehaved with us .Told us you can check out ask MMT to give refund.We had our parents with us .One man at the reception threatened us saying we will now show what we can do and even said that you guys seem to come from a village you dont knw anything about rooms.This was unacceptable.That whole day we talked to Make My Trip for somd alternate arrangement or refund but they did nothing.Next day they give some wallet discount when we already checked out. I would advice all my friends and family never to use that hotel again.Then rooms as well as bathrooms are like public toilets not at all worth the money.

An avarage B&B full board resort away from city crowds, ideal for a couple of days spend with family. The aminities were vary basic here. I was in this is hotel for twice. It is pet friendly. The hotel was in comparision better during my earlier visit. This time I was little disappointed with the services. This private property would be best in catagories if Hotel management is became littler less business oriented and looking after comfort of its customers. The hotel provided a very little space at compound by building a couple of huts at the entrance makes it apprearence alike clampsy concreted jungle. The private dack is its main attaction but poorly mentioned by the hotel stuffs, feels like spending not even a minute here. The hotel's rooms were not properly clean this time. AC was not working. Room cleaning was unavailable even on request. Bathroom.... aweful. Stuffs are well behave and tried to cooperate with customer but, shortage of stuffs were often puzzled managing crowds at weekends. The in house restaurant Cleopetra, providing food are very delicious. I will give a second thought during my future visit here.

Me and my wife went to Mandarmoni on the 3rd of August 2018. After much surfing over the net we chose Candlewood for our stay as from the reviews and pictures it appeared to be a decent choice. However what came across was an absolute shocker. First of all I booked a room on the 1st floor but on reaching the hotel we were told that only rooms on the ground floor were available. The reception itself was shabby and strewn with waste materials including broken furnitures, rags cardboard packets of all shapes and sizes. Dont know how any hotelier who has got any care for his/her customers can allow the reception to be so shabby since it is the space where customers first come in contact with the hotel and is critical to create an impression. The room that we were led into had a little bit of a balcony like space but a huge broken air conditioner was placed into it killing the entire show of the space. On entering the room we found it that it was ill maintained and not cleaned for years. The furnitures were thousand years old and have two inches of thick dust accumulated on them. Similar was the condition of the fans which had turned black with dirt. However we decided to ignore and tried concentrating on unpacking to complete the trip. Very soon we found that the taps and the exhaust at the bathroom cum toilet not working. Then it was revealed that the geyser was not working as well. After completing bath in cold water when I tried sitting on the sofa for lunch, I suddenly found two pointed iron rods jutting out from the two corners of the seat dangerously just waiting for an opportunity to cause a serious injury. Imagine all this after paying Rs 3000/- for a single night. We informed the manager (Ujjwal) and we were told that our room is going to be changed after dinner. Just at the time we were about to have dinner we were asked to change but this was just the trailer of our misfortunes which were lined up for the remaining part of the night. After changing over to the other room without even touching our dinner (which was unfortunately left to get cold) we found that the other room also had the same set of problems and this time with a new addition. The air-conditioner as soon as it is switched on will start emitting noise like that of a battle tank making it impossible for you to listen to the person standing just next to you. The manager kept calling everywhere he could think off in order to get an electrician as it was soon found out that the hotel electrician was dead drunk and in an inebriated state and not in a position to discharge his duties. Soon after he lined up almost all the remaining hotel staff starting from the security guard to the cook to the housekeeping, all of them tried their level best to fix the problem in the room mainly the geyser and the AC. The manager tried all available options at his disposal and after being fed up with his staff gave the mobile number of the GM Operations so that we can directly complain to him but that was also of no use. Mr. Ujjal only managed to get the cook heat up our chilled dinner and serve it around 1pm in the morning and soon after the dinner we were shifted back to the earlier room with a promise to change to a better room the next morning; with no other option we put ear plugs to get some sleep after the hectic day. The next morning just when we were about to have our breakfast the hotel staff told us to shift our baggage to another room immediately and left the room keys with us, my wife had to leave her breakfast half way and did all the shifting by herself without any help from any of the hotel staff. The staff was annoyed and refused to help since we raised our voice against their disgusting service. Finally we shifted to a room which was a bit better but with little time left to enjoy ourselves, we simply ignored age old broken bed and table in the room. The next day morning we were told to vacate the room one hour prior to the schedule time stating new guest have arrived and they are waiting in the lobby. After a long time we planned this vacation so that we can enjoy some nice moments together but staying at Candlewood was not only a sheer waste of money but they ruined our entire trip with their sickening service.

It was an experience worth cherishing life long.. The ambience was too good.. The rooms were airy and well lit.. The room decor with their classical and subtly gorgeous furnishings is worth a mention ... Ohh...complete view of the sea must invite a huge round of applause.. It gives a feel of ultimate relaxation and wraps the entire sorrounding with a sense of security... It was nothing less than a suite with all basic and lavishly luxurious facility in handy.. There was not even the slightest hint of any compromise in any service quality;be it food or room service or any other sort of assistance.. The beach side shacks need to needs a major part of attention too... Enjoy the evenings sitting beside your beloved absorbing the fragrance of the sea;while the high tide waves play the background score.. I must admit that this place deserves a 5 star.. P.S.:- Keep some cash handy;coz anytym u may run out of network for any sort of online transactions..
