What's Good: Overall experience was quite satisfying. However few areas of improvement: 1.Room provisions as per bookings made. - We booked 2 Lords rooms for 2 days. But on arrival were provided with 2 very inconveniently placed Lords rooms and on further request had to settle with 1 Lords and 1 Duke rooms. 2.Basic breakfast should be a part of the 4590/- tariff plan. 3.The property is new and require few basic amenities like wall clocks, adequate intercom facility, hangers, quilt etc. Thumps-up factor: Well maintained property. The inconveniences were made up by the accommodating attitude of the owners and the staffs. Paid services like Car-wash and full-body massage were excellent and economically priced.

What's Good: Overall a very neat & compact resort. Specially pool area is quite well managed. Only problem which We faced is food. Very limited options are available . They dont have any items for 24Hr...They should keep some basic items on round the clock basis. at 6 PM You cant have Dinner starters or Sandwiches can`t be made only during breakfast. Staff is supportive...They arranged our anniversary cake too which really made us felt nice. They can consider additional blanket and pillows at the room. Bathrooms are huge and they should have curtains as the Sunlight is quite irritating at Top Floors. The resort does not have elevators makes navigation within resort troublesome for top floor occupants. They have a big grassbank at the entry point which does not have any use. Can be converted into Play area for kids or it can be converted into Lawn for some activities. Value for money is not that great as tariff part is quite high ....but it is basically due to the remoteness of the location.

What's Good: Room no. 304 was filled with the loud noise of kitchen exhaust throughout the 2 days. It did not stop despite repeated requested to reception and manager. Room service is very poor. Restaurant has very poor waiter service. Getting even a glass of water requires telling the waiter thrice. There is a long waiting period for all items on the buffet. There is no A la carte menu. The hotel is not bearable for more than a day.

What's Good: The hotel is very good. The stuffs are very nice and friendly. However, the boarder may have to ask for better cleaning of the rooms or else the cleaning would be quite below average. Food is simply excellent. Overall, I would stay there again and recommend it to others.

We planned a visit to mandarmani for 1day at this resort. We were expecting at least some minimal decent service because of the huge price they have charged for the booking. But we experienced one of the worst service,poorly maintained,unclean washrooms and the list goes on. Some of the experience: 1. We had to call reception thrice to send some person to clean the washroom. 2. For lunch , one will have no right to choose ala carte; only option was buffet. 3.sea facing room is a scam as you will only a a tiny glimpse of the sea from the balcony.By the way, the balcony sliding door was damaged. It was not opening. PS. As dinner was also buffet with no option to choose from the menu, we opted to eat from the local shacks just outside the hotel. Had tasty and fresh made crab curry. Best decision of the day!

Very rude and abusive staff and manager. You complain about staff behaviour to the manager, and the hotel manager abuses u and pushes u out of his room. Forget hospitality, these hotel staff do not have basic manners to speak with guests. Also they switch off their air conditioner for certain timings. Horrible. Never visit this hotel.

It was a good holiday with bad experience. The Check-in time was 12:00 Noon on 1st June 2018. We reached the Hotel at 1:30PM and found that our rooms were not clean. The hotel had provided used towels and used bed sheets. We requested the Hotel staff to clean the rooms and provide fresh Bed sheets atleast 3 times. When there was no response, I went down to the Lobby cum Reception and shouted at the manager for his non response. The owner of the Hotel Mr. Manu Arneja came out of his office and told me to "GET OUT". We had booked two double rooms 3 weeks in advance and had paid 100% in advance (Rs.23552) and just see the audacity of the owner. I paid a total Bill of approx. Rs.35,000/ for 2 nights - not to be insulted. I had no other alternative as I had taken my pet along and other hotels in Mandarmani do not allow pets, hence I had to tolerate the owner's high handedness and goondaism. Further I would also like to caution all visitors to avoid staying on the second floor i.e. room nos. 311, 312 and 313 which are sea facing. This is because the hotel staff wash the bed sheets and heavy linen early morning at 5:30 AM just above these rooms. Your sleep will get disturbed with heavy pounding and thumping. Even on requesting they will not stop The food is however fairly good and the waiters and general staff courteous. Only the owner Mr. Manu Arneja and the General Manager, Mr. Thomas need to go to a grooming / hospitality College Kuldeep Singh Kolkata

I had selected this hotel based on a friend's recommendations and I'm grateful to him for that. It is indeed a nice place to stay for a short trip to Mandermoni. The hotel is located just on the beach and we found the beach very clean compared to Digha or other near by places. The room size is great and was good enough for me, my wife and my two little kids with an extra bed in the room, Sleep quality is really good and in my experience, better than all other hotels in Digha and Mandermoni. Swimming pool with a pool bar was quite handy and my kids spent almost all the time either on the beach or in the pool. Try avoiding the week-ends and public holidays as those days it tends to be full and very busy. We stayed in the sea facing room (top floor) and the view outside was great.

Mandarmoni is the one of the few beach town in West Bengal.In winter Kolkatans flock to this beach for Sun and Sand. The property is great , located a ittle far from the main beach but it is self sufficient with hotel ammenities its provided. The hotel has a nice pool, good restauranr, cosy rooms . The gardens are well maintained and has lots of open AREA for kids play
