Manmad Hotels

Manmad, a major city situated at an average altitude of 580 metres, lies in the Nasik district of Maharashtra. There are many interesting attractions in the place that draw a large number of tourists throughout the year. Travellers can visit 'Waghdardi', a small dam that serves as the main source of water for the city population. Tourist can also choose to visit historical attractions such as the Ankai and Tankai forts, located around Manmad, that stand remarkably at a height of 961 metres above sea level.
During Manmad sightseeing, tourists must visit and pay obeisance at the famous Gurudwara Gupatsar Sahib. Construction of the sacred place was started by Sant Baba Nidhan Singh Ji after clearing the thick forests in the neighbourhood. Visitors should not miss the opportunity of eating at the 'Langar' at the Gurudwara.
Being a commercially viable place, the city abounds in large warehouses which are used for storing grains. These storehouses are administered by the Food Corporation of India (FCI). Major Indian fuel brands such as Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum also have their petrol and diesel distribution units in the Manmad city due to its coastal location.
Things to do in Manmad include visiting the large onion market. Here, tourist can get to know the process of trading of onions at such a large scale. Tourists interested in technology and railway constructions get an opportunity to visit the Manmad based “Central Railway Engineering Workshop”. The workshop is responsible for constructing and maintaining infrastructure for the central railways.
