The guest house is good place to relax, there is not much to do, the beach is around 300 meters form the guest house and not fit for swimming , the pool is a blessing, if you're looking for action this is not the place, food is excellent, however on the costlier side, the hosts are humble, overall a good place to unwind yourself.

We really enjoyed our 2 nights with Robin and his family and loved the home cooked food. Robin kindly upgraded us to his biggest room for free with air con (slightly noisey). The room was very nice and had everything we needed except a mini bar. The sandy front drive and the veranda which looks onto it is only simple but very nice to relax around in the evening. The beach is less than 5minutes walk from Robins home, then 30-40minutes up the sea front front to the main part of marari beach. See my review on marari beach. Marileena could benefit with some fresher towels and bedding but if you are looking to for a well priced authentic home stay with a very attentive host, I dont think you will be disappointed.

If you want a taste of real India and living in a little village were the locals live, then stay here. Robin who runs the place along with his family will make sure you enjoy your stay. They will go out of their way to make sure everything you need either food wise or trips out are catered especially to your needs. We loved our stay here and spent time talking to the people in the village plus the local beach is a two minute walk away. There's no facilities at this one but for 1.50 r you could get a tut tut to Marari beach were there are snack bars. Managed to get in the sea most days for a swim. If you want the little tourist shops don't expect any

We booked the place for 2 nights and were quite satisfied with the stay. The rooms are spacious and clean. All the needed amenities are provided for. Robin is good host. However our room on the first floor did not have enough water pressure and from shower it only trickled down. So could not take shower. There is a pool inside but very small in size. Breakfast was quite good and we also had once dinner as well. However there is not much choice available in food so did not make sense to eat multiple times as you land eating similar stuff. It would have been better if they could offer more variety and choices. We are vegetarian so may be that was the limitation with them. Beach is a very short walk from the house and is small but very nice and relatively clean compared to Main Marari Beach which is also short ride away.

Except the in-house pool, its just another home stay. Its falseley claimed to be on the beach but its about 200 m from the beach. The beach is not fit for bath as tides are wild. There is nothing to do there. Not suggested for long stay unless you are old who likes to just lay down on holidays and read books. The Aircon is not necessary during December Janaury
