Let me start with the Pros 1) Neat and clean hall and washroom 2) Food served hot Cons 1) Giving preference to those who directly contact the hotel to reserve the room over online customers. We were denied to check in the room we booked (Wood House) online and allotted a different class room (Family quadruple or 4 person room ) of lesser price. No refund provided for the price difference.( We were cheated) 2) The road leading to the hotel is very narrow and in bad condition. You can't take your vehicle inside If you are coming here by a 7 seater vehicle or a SUV. We somehow managed to drive our vehicle ( Grand i10) inside. The staff will test your driving skills by parking their two wheeler on this narrow road. 3) No cupboards in the room to keep your bags, dresses and other items. 4) Food was average. 5) Higher service charge for food. We had evening tea and Dinner from here. Food cost was Rs.500 along with it they added Rs.200 as service charge which is 40 percent of the food cost. So total Rs.700 we paid for the average quality food. Dining tables were kept outside for all the customers in this hotel. They took our table and given to the bachelors group came to stay there. Hence we were forced to have dinner from our room itself holding the plates on our hand. So i didn't understand what they meant by "service" here to charge this amount.

Rooms are neat. Its more like a home stay and not a resort. They don't accept cash and full amount needs to be paid before check in. Based on availability you can check in early. Property is small but you have sufficient place to play cricket. Lunch and dinner is served in the balcony and there is no separate dining room.

I visited this place recently and will try to explain all the aspects: Location : This place is located a little interiors of masinagudi town. As soon as u enter masinagudi town from mysore side, lookout for a dargha and take a left. Go ahead for 200-300 mtrs and take a right. (Confirm with local in case of doubt) The last stretch of road is narrow and rough but cars with good ground clearance will make it easily. Parking : They have good parking space. Check in Check in was very smooth and we got the room within 5 mins. Room: We had booked a room with 2 double cots which can acommodate 4 people. It was very clean and spacious. It had a tv, chairs ,a small table and a fan. Dining table is placed outside the room so that people can enjoy food in natural light and cool breeze. Hot-water will be available in the morning but for a limited time. Food : They have an in-house kitchen and serve some limited items. The food served was very hot and very tasty. But please remember that the waiting time is generally 1hr-1.5hr as they cook everything fresh. (Take this into consideration and order food very well in advance). Other facilities: They have a basketball net, and a volleyball court. They can setup camp-fire at night with some extra cost. The owner and staff are very courteous and friendly. Areas of improvement. 1. Food waiting time should be reduced. 2. Hot water facility should be made little more efficient. Overall it was a comfortable & a relaxed stay.

Midway resort is located close to Madhumalai forest, Surrounded by lot of greenary and very peaceful . Four of us stayed in wood house for couple of nights. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Food tasted homely. There is a separate area for playing cricket/badminton/volleyball as well. Property is well maintained and hospitality was good.

Spacious rooms but slightly interior. Difficult to find it yourself. Limited menu for food and the wait for the food ordered is too long. Pleasant place to chill for a couple of days with nothing much to do. The owners are quite accommodative. Facilities can definitely be improved for the price
