  • long stay

    by peppyAmsterdam on

The reason for my long stay at Ekantlogde was because of several courses On Tibetan medicine and teachings on Buddist philosophy. I was looking for a quite place, though still within walking distance from college, HH Dalai Lamas main temple and main square at Mcleodganj , (around 10 minutes)I enjoyed my stay at this place, the kind owner and his staff made sure that I felt at home, providing everything I asked for or helping me out without any hesitation.. This place has now become my future home, when returning back to Mcleod ganj. Last but not least, the views from my balcony on the high mountain peaks, just spectacular! My biggest thanks to this kind family, Vijay my kind caretaker and all the staff members for making my stay wonderful at Ekantlogde.

Good location at the start of Jogiwara (on the quieter end). Staff was friendly and helpful. My room 203 was good, clean and had a great view of the mountains. 2 ways to walk to the Dalai Lama temple, either uphill or downhill, and both are around 20min and pretty steep. Didn't use the wifi or ate in the restaurant.

  • Kind, courteous, clean and very helpful

My three children and I stayed at this hotel for two weeks. The staff was very generous, kind and compassionate to us. They prepared meals for us on the premises, catered to our dietary styles and provided us with an amazing view of the Himalayan foothills. The staff went out of their way to help us and were very patient with us. They had wi-fi and a heater if you feel cold. I highly recommend staying at this place if you are in Mcleodganj. It was very quiet and peaceful.

  • Good budget hotel

Location is very near to main market mcloadganj. All the tourist attractions are near by it and easily approachable specially bhagsunag temple and falls and dalai lama temple. Hotel stay is ordinary but good for one or two night.

  • Nice Stay

    by TuishaS on

The stay was a memorable one. The support from the hotel staff definitely added to the experience. The Rooms are cozy and workable for at a price so cheap. Definitely there's a problem with bugs around especially in the toilet in the first floor rooms with balcony but it was not a big deal for me and my partner but could be for someone else. Food was an issue and hence we always ate outside. The view also wasn't so great. The good thing was that the hotel is situated nearby many eating places. It definitely holds an edge over other expensive hotels that are there in its vicinity.
