What's Good: High value for money as i stayed for an exam, i had the comforts of AC to sleep well and the Wifi service provided helped a lot. Bathrooms were cleaned regularly though we had to share them.
What needs to improve : Locker space could have been more.

We had a really good stay at the Arma hostel and were welcomed into the arms of Mumbai and all its craziness and beauty by those who worked there. The rooms were clean and cool, with big beds! The bathroom was clean, modern, and worked well. Located in East Bandra and straight off a street that is a informal market during the day, you get a feel for the real city. A stripped down and very real feel of what it means to live in one of the craziest and most interesting places in the world. The 'Get Local' tour was the highlight of our short stay. A social project to introduce tourists to every nook and cranny of the sprawling city and in the space of a day show them what it means to be a "localite". The tour which ran from 2 in the afternoon through to the late evening gave us a real insight into every part of the city. From the Bollywood character of West Bandra, to the rooms and chests of wonders worthy of Hollywood film sets in the Old Town and Chor Bazar, to the clean and money green streets of the southern more 'European' sector of the city. It was a day to savor and provided a thorough and fulfilling view into the lives of the people of Mumbai as fast paced as the city itself!

Located in Bandra East , this is a good hostel ,quite clean and beds quite comfortable . Toilets too neat and clean . However , it was very noisy and the staff kept on talking on top of their voices and I could not sleep after no sleep in previous night .

I liked the neighbourhood, the street food there is amazing and dirt cheap. dirt included in the food. This hostel is popular amongst the local Indian traveller, because it the cheapest, so if interacting with local traveller is what you're looking for, go for it. They offered a very interesting tour of the city, go for that! I was unfortunately roomed together with a group of inconsiderate and loud young local dude, they were loud and obnoxious at 3am in the morning. So my sleep there wasn't very good. I'll go for the more expensive hostels in Mumbai the next time.

I've been here a couple of times and always sleep really good here. Mainly cause of the way you can close the cube in which you sleep and you cant sense any movement from the person above or below you. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location can be somewhat harder to find, especially if you come at night by cab. Make sure you have wifi for maps or a way of calling for directions. The hostel is fairly clean for foreigners, sometimes kind of messy, but for Indian standards, it's definitely clean. I also asked them for a towel and they gave it to me at no cost. Location is not really central but oke. I would advise this place to people and would stay again.
