Mr Nitesh does a great job, working hard and being helpful, running a very affordable place in Mumbai. I've come to accept that the way of life of India isn't a great match to my western temperament, so if at first it seemed the bed was very hard, it only helped prepare for the bed on the trains. If it was odd that the bathroom light didn't work, and the toilet seat fell off the toilet onto the wet floor, well, it's a shared bathroom with a lot of other people on the same floor, and they don't seem to mind. If arriving late at night to find no one that spoke English, and they didn't have our online reservation, well, it's India, that kind of thing seems to happen a lot. The dark and dirty alley leading from the sidewalk-less street to the building with the rooms was off-putting, but the people were quite nice, and it was a safe and pleasant stay. Mr Nitesh puts in a lot of work into having a well-running hotel, and will gladly give you directions for how to walk to the train and take a specific train to another train to another train to a taxi to a place to walk somewhere, to save some rupees on just taking a straight taxi, so for the value, it's really a wonderful service. He was also kind to book an Ola cab to drive us around for four hours, and told the driver which places to drive to, which were all very pleasant to see, and very efficient to tour through.

Bombay rooms is one of the best priced accommodation in the city, It is located right next to the airport and also has a metro station which connects you to the other parts of the city at 2 min walk. The best part this venue is that the owner himself, Sahej, is extremely involved in the daily operations of the hotel and personally looked after and resolved all my queries. The hospitality I recived from him and the rest of the staff was better than most 5 stars I have visited. Lastly I would like to mention their amazing chill zone in which you can play several games provided by them. To conclude, this place is perfect if you looking for a fair price stay in this overpriced city regardless if you are traveling for business or just need a place to crash with friends

The place very nicely located. The place can be better in terms of basic amenities offered and cleanliness in the shared toilets and showers. Soap, shampoo and a clean towel are not available even in golden dorm. Breakfast would be great but there are plenty of nearby places to eat, it is not a necessary addition.

As we came to Mumbai in occasion of our 1st anniversary and somehow we got our day extended and our flight was on 24th Jan and for last resort we saw this budget hotel near by to airport as fight got cancelled so we had our one day stay at Bombay rooms and Priya the girl over reception is really sweet and on toes to look after guest comfort. We even liked their chill zone interior and would like to share same.
