What's Good: The hotel is 'just ok.' Definitely not value for the money spent. The night we arrived, the taxi guy dint know the location and the family had to walk to the hotel from the Colaba market. The hotel room is clean. The buffet is nothing special that I could write about. Its not too far from gateway of India, and transportation around is good. However for the room rate at Fariyas, I think one is better off staying at the Taj Vivanta President.

What's Good: The staff was excellent, extremely friendly and helpful, location is good, very close to gateway of india, breakfast was not awesome but good, it would have been better if he room was a little larger, lastly, the bathroom should have an exhaust fan

The hotel was very ideal for a family visit. The staff was very welcoming and humble. I am very impressed with Sarvesh and Shashi from the restaurant as they were very accommodating and went out of there way to help my family and I. The food was fantastic and I would highly recommend the faryas hotel.

This hotel is great. Its a walk away from the gateway of India, honestly just walk dont pay for taxis the area is safe to walk and if u get lost ask people for help. Also very close to shops if u bargain well youll get cheap items. The hotel breakfast is a bit bland, wasnt only me that found it like this both mornings we spoke with many familys who had the same experience and one complained. Highly recommended the hotels restaurant as there food is cheap and delicious. Their breyani is amazing

This hotel was an overall great experience, with both pros and cons. Pros: The staff is so kind, the restaurant is nice and affordable, and the breakfast is good too (for indian standards). They helped us getting a taxi for the mall, and also carried our luggage to the room, which i found was pretty standard everywhere we went around India. They also recommended a really amazing restaurant called Delhi Dabar, just about 15 minutes walk from the hotel. The rooms were big and nice, and the mini bar is really cheap, and with a great selection. The neighbourhood is fine - we travelled as a family with mom, dad and two daughters - and we felt safe walking around even in the night. The pool area is nice, even though we didn't really want to swim, since nobody else did, and the pool is surrounded by regular apartment complexes, so it seemed a bit odd that everyone could watch us swim. I can highly recommend the sizzling brownie from the menu. The lobby was also decorated with christmas ornaments, which was nice.. My dad got a birthday cake when we left, as he celebrated his birthday there! Cons: My two pillows were dirty when we arrived, like someone had stepped on them or something, but that was quickly fixed! Almost everything in the mini bar was way too old - we found sodas that expired in august 2018, and they tasted horrible!! For the food (chips, cookies etc.) i didn't care that they were a bit too old, and i couldn't taste it, but the sodas were disgusting. When we looked out the window and turned left, we could stare directly into one of the slum areas of Mumbai. We didn't notice too much, but this was supposed to be our "ocean view". It took us a while to check out when we were leaving, which stressed us a bit since we had to catch a flight. But that's also a standard thing for India - take your time with everything! Overall a great stay, with minor inconveniences. Would definitely recommend!
