Reason For Rating : The hotel's ambience is marvellous and our stay was pleasurable, but review points got lowered due to mis-guidance at reception. They offered to 'adjust' us to 'upgraged' Mercury city facing rooms instead of our Lagoon view, and warned that it would NOT be possible to change it. These rooms had pathetic view, no space, no bathtub. We had to insist to get them changed, but after wasting 2 extra hours after normal check-in time.

What's Good: Hello Team Sahara Star. Vivek Kumar Chief Executive Officer It was very good time at Sahara Star. I came for m First Night after My marriage. The premises is very Nice, Neat & clean. But i have to tell you this that your room Number 3044 in which I was staying is not that proper. 1: Bathroom Door lock is broken & it is not working properly. 2: there is a leakage in Bathtub 3: in m room about at 2am to 6am A/c was not working properly. Apart from this Light system is also giving some trouble to operate. Also i got welcome letter on Some Mr. Deep Shah's Name Instead of my Name Mr. Dharmesh Kholiya. This small small Mistakes making your premises Uncool. Do think about it. I Have no complaint about my Visit. Just writing this for your better services. I came for My first Night & at Nights 2 am where should I go to complain. this is why I dint said anything at reception at checkout timing. -- Master's Mind. Had been for buffet lunch on 11 August 2018 with family.The service was pathetic. none to serve water on table. steam rice wasn't bothered to refill even after repeated requests. Pasta or chat though was assured to be served on table after giving the table number in vain. Starter samosa,paneers or fried Oreo had minimum 20minuites wait time..poor time management. No waiters to clean off the empty plates...or were they available to serve mocktails... Lasagna was over and though requested..dint see it being refilled...what's the use going to a star hotel expecting good service? Am sure udipi hotel would have better quality of service The whole fun of family lunch was spoiled and we just had spend time waiting and waiting for food... Won't step back again!

Just got back from yet another truly memorable stay at Sahara Star. This is certainly one of the only place to stay at when I visit Mumbai and every time I stay here it gets better and better. They have clean, tidy and well maintained Rooms, a wide lavish spread at the buffet for breakfast every morning and various facilities as well as some of the best restaurants. I have always been welcomed with utmost joy and delight by the staff who are family to me. Gracy and Rishi have always been ever so supportive in ensuring that I have the most comfortable and enjoyable stay. The check in procedures have been significantly seamless and the staff just wait to have me taken to my room to relax and feel refreshed as they provide me with a welcome drink, sweets and chocolates each time. It doesnt end here, in fact despite the fact that each and every one of them are always so busy handling the extremely busy and hectic schedule they all have, they still make it a point to keep a constant check on whether Im comfortable and ask me if there was anything I required. The concierge team makes my pick up from the airport, drop to the airport and my internal Mumbai journeys so effortless as they are always available to help me when needed. Words cant express how thankful I am for the support of Team Sahara star for the most amazing stay I have each time I am in Mumbai. Special thanks to Gracy, Rishi, Noel and Poornima and not forgetting Manish Sodi who ensures to welcome me back delightfully each time I visit Sahara Star. Looking forward to another visit here soon.

Stayed here for 2 weeks during relocation from Ggn to Mumbai. Excellent breakfast menu and beautiful landscaping inside. Special note of thanks for the housekeeping team (Mansi, Vijay and Abhishek, in uniform in picture below). They brought fresh flowers, made innovative crafts from towels daily, got a cake before we left and got out of the way for smallest of things. I wish these guys all the best. Please promote them !! They demonstrate your values and service standards in smallest of things.

Nice convenient hotel walking distance from Airport. Good Service and very lavish buffet. Very buzzing place and the tropical landscape created overlooking all balconies feels good. Would like to stay again

Theres always something special which takes me back to Hotel Sahara Star, each time bringing me yet a bit closer with their qualitative, flexible and positive hospitality along with some of their unforgettably humble and friendly staff. Just to name a few, Poornima from the front desk was extremely proactive and helpful making our stay just a tad bit more pleasant and sweet:) also, Gargi from the Hotels food and dining department, was very kind catering and executing to each of my needs. Nonetheless, overall its worth the dime just a tad bit disappointed with the in-room dining experience which needs upgrading with a broader, more scrumptious menu to chose from to give the stay the stars it truly deserves!
