What's Good: Maintainance
What needs to improve : Price
Reason For Rating : Very nice boutique hotel with clean rooms and all the basic facilities included. Although the price is a little on higher side but worth a consideration

What's Good: +Airport transfers were really smooth. +Hotel, overall, is very clean & well kept. +Overall, good facilities. - There was a water leak from top in the bathroom. - Breakfast could improve. Quality of cornflakes was very poor. - The staff in the breakfast area looked jaded & seemed disinterested in offering any services.

I have stayed in various hotels in Mumbai earlier but this was my first stay at The Mirador. The hotel was recommended by a friend who has an office close by. I was certainly not disappointed. Arriving in the late afternoon, my check in was quick and smooth. The staff at the reception were quite friendly and helpful. I was allotted a room on the 6th floor and I must stay I was pleasantly surprised on entering the room. The room was huge, by Mumbai standards. The bathroom is inside a walk-in closet area, something that is rarely seen these days. There is ample wardrobe space in the same area, as well as an electronic safe. The bathroom area sort of blends into the sleeping area and you have the option of closing the partition door and keeping it open. The was basin is mounted on a pedestal and actually faces the bedroom, with a blind separating the two. For this very reason there is no mirror above the wash basin, though a shaving mirror is provided on the wall, and there is a full-length mirror inside the room. The room itself is quite tastefully done and reminiscent of the old world charm. However, the furniture polish is dark, as is the overall theme of the room, and I found it a bit lacking in lighting. A little brightness in the room would have made it cozier. But nevertheless, it was a decent room with a fairly large bed and plenty of space otherwise. One corner had a sofa with a foot stool as well as a coffee table. There was a proper writing table in one corner. Facing the bed was a flat screen TV placed above a wooden cabinet. The drawer of the cabinet had tea / coffee making amenities inside. Complimentary bottled water was provided. A friend joined me for drinks in the evening and we ordered some snacks from the room service, which were excellent and moderately priced. In fact the hotel has a decent in-room dining menu which is placed on the bed in a manner that you cannot miss it, and the prices are inviting. Room service is quick and efficient. The bed was big and comfortable, with clean sheets and pillows. The towels were very clean, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was a buffet affair in the restaurant on the ground floor. The spread was decent and more than adequate, with good service. Check out was quite smooth as well. Over all a very decent place to stay in Mumbai and I will definitely be back again on my next trip.

We booked on make my trip and reached the hotel at 830 pm only to wait in the lobby. Staff training is required, they only know these words "Sorry for the inconvenience". Then nothing. Wait an hour. Still nothing. Wait more. Nothing. "Sorry for the inconvenience" If you need a room, never book here.

I was booked into this small hotel by my client, and what a great choice. The food is excellent and all staff made me feel very welcome. Its the small things that matter when you often travel alone. Remembering my breakfast order on day 2, checking that I am comfortable with everything - but making it seem like they really cared and were not just going through the corporate motions. Real customer service. If I ever need a hotel close to Mumbai Airport I would choose the Mirador again.
